Hold On

i should have known better than to stray away from samsung..

i wrote about how amazing the high ; pixel density was.. very sharp text

BUT i had to go back to my samsung syncmaster ; because it is sooo much easier on my eyes ; there is some kind of gama emissions or something ; that is tiring on the eyes with this AOC.. i tried other video cards and many different drivers and settings...

Mind blowing

I normally only buy Samsung- but the specs are better on this new display from AOC.. AOC makes all the displays for names like Dell- Lenovo- View Sonic- HP etc. etc. and is the second largest monitor maker in the world.. this new monitor from AOC now...

Pixel Pitch 0.255mm ; AOC

Good deal, but some problems

These problems (besides the dead pixels) are minor, somewhat correctible, and ignorable for the most part. The dead pixels are hard to see some of the time, and not too bad when I can see them, I'm just terribly disappointed that it has any at all. A...

Great features, plenty of inputs etc. The built in speakers are convenient for some, perhaps, but useless to me. Easy pitch/rotation controls, decent footprint (I hate very small/awkward/circular monitor stands, they scare me). Stable but relatively small

Well, I've got four dead pixels so far (and I'm hoping for four more within 18 more days so I can RMA it and get one maybe without so many dead pixels). A major bummer, because I tend to work in black-background environments, and so they get really...

AOC 17" Envision series LCD TV Monitor A17W221

If this weren't a guestroom set replacing a 35-yr-old TV it might be on its way back tomorrow - but then there are lots of marginal-quality LCDTVs in this price that could be worse.

Attractive styling; first-rate stand; Newegg price

Mushy, washed-out color. No amount of fiddling with video controls produces a real red or true black. Picture is bright enough, though, and no dead pixels. The OSD menu is hard to read, and the manual is a complete joke

DOA

Sent to regional service center AT MY EXPENSE. Will update when I get it back

Looks nice sitting on table

Did not power up first time tried. Caused ground fault on surge suppressor. Suspect a bad power supply

A-

I could only wish that this was HD-Ready. I didn't notice any Ghosting when gamming FPS like CS:S Same when playing WOW (World of Warcraft). The Built-In Speakers isn't realy good but thats alrigt when you have headphones or 2pc speakers.

PC Input ; TV Tuning: NTSC, PAL-M, PAL-N ; RCA Composite ; S-Video ; L/R Audio ; D-Sub ; Headphone Output ; Response Time 8ms ; Pixel Pitch 0.264mm ; Tv/Gamming

No DVI, Unless you have DVI-VGA Adapter and care less for it ; 17 ; 1 Dead Pixel ; Built-in Speakers

EXCELLENT

Ordered and received in 3 business days as stated. I had also ordered a wall mount prior to ordering this lcd tv and setup was quick once I have everything installed.

Very Light Weight ; Wall Mountable ; Very Clear HDTV and Cable Channels ; Audio Speakers are clear and very good to listen to

Not that I know of, I wish it came in 20" Widescreen

Nice for TV/DVD/Computer use

I purchased this in August 2005 and have not had any problems or dead pixels. I use it as a computer monitor at home and TV/DVD when camping. My only complaint is ghosting, but it's not too bad. Had to upgrade my vidio card on my old computer to take...
