AOC D2357Ph Passive 3D Monitor

3D is the latest trend and today we are looking at a 3D screen from AOC; who is also one of our new sponsors. AOC's d2357Ph is an incredibly thin monitor with LED backlighting, a Full HD resolution and the ability to display passive 3D images. What...

Slim ; Nice looking ; No backbleed ; No ghosting ; Cons ; 3D ; Foot/stand

3D ; Foot/stand

AOC D2357Ph Passive 3D Monitor

An ultra thin, 23in, Full HD 3D monitor for £200 sounds like a great deal, but do you really need that extra dimension?

Stylish, slim design, Cheap for a 3D monitor, Bundled 3D glasses and clip-on lenses

Most expensive than better performing dedicated 2D monitors, Passive 3D affects 2D brightness, Sweetspot for 3D viewing is small

The extra £70 on the price tag for the option to switch to 3D, takes the panel into 2D IPS territory, so it’s not something you’d buy on a whim. The passive 3D works well with lots of contrast in the screen, though text is less impressive. For a cheap...
