AOC G2770PQU 27-Inch 144Hz Gaming Monitor Review

Today we're looking at AOC's other 144Hz gaming display, the G2770PQU. It delivers a 27” image at 1920x1080 resolution through a TN panel. With speedy G-Sync-capable monitors starting to emerge, is the tech still a relevant choice? We find out today.

Excellent contrast, black levels, and screen uniformity; solid color accuracy; less-expensive than other 27-inch 144Hz screens

No blur-reduction feature; a tad more input lag than the competition

If you can live without G-Sync and blur reduction, the G2770PQU makes a great choice for budget-constrained gamers. It’s the cheapest 144Hz 27-inch screen out there if you are OK with 1920 x 1080 resolution.

Great beautiful monitor

It comes with a display port and the dvi cables to be able to reach the 144hz. The hdmi will only let you do 60fps on Xbox one . Don't be like that one kid in the comments that gave this awesome Monitor 1 egg rating just because he thought he could do...

Great monitor I love the 27inch display. Also love how easily it turns and rotate to easily adjust the way you want it.. It makes the gaming experience up close and personal. And it's refresh rate speed of 144hz is beautiful for gaming on my AMD Gaming...

To be honest no concerns at all

AOC

Full featured mid priced , 144 refresh seems to be optimal tuned.

Gigantic gaming experience. with a ton of ports, i see some reviews say the colors are washed out and i can see this with this monitor running on Hdmi at 60hz refresh. I started off going to Toms hardware and c searching for the monitor and useing...

No remote controll, no thunderbolt/ mini cable included.

gorgeous!

I read a lot about people complaining about the color being off and needing to adjust it. Maybe AOC listened, because out of the box the colors were brilliant and perfect for me. Haven't needed to adjust a thing!

-great freakin' monitor -good pricejavascript:Biz.Review.SearchReview.addReview(false) -Never gamed in such style before Comes with displayport cord

-spoiled me rotten

Great displays

Easy setup, no dead pixels!! Display has good lighting and refresh rate is as advertised. I have two of these on 1 video card and they work flawlessly.

None. Except refresh rate can be a bit tricky to set up with NVidia utility. Make sure you hook them up with the display port or the DVI to get max refresh rate.

Amazing!

144HZ 27Inches! All the adjustments! I had an LG 34Um95 and hated IPS display on darker scenes...bleeding and such. A VA Samsung would be the best thing if it was 144hz! Oh and it comes with ALL THE CABLES, DVI, VGA, HDMI, Display Port, USB, 3.5mm..

Settings did need to be calibrated, not much to it. I followed what they used on TomsHardware and it looks great now. I noticed it does have some slight light bleeding on the sides, but it's not noticeable at all, unless you're really looking for it.

great for price

have built rigs for 6 years and just made the jump to 144hz from 60hz. this monitor is cheapest in its class and the little cons aside I am very happy with this purchase. I will never go back to 60hz again.

big screen fast refresh rate (144hz dvi only as hdmi is only capable of 60hz roughly) wire management clip on stand can adjust to any height and angle relatively cheap does not wobble if desk is bumped

whirring noise with heavy gpu use speakers sound like loud ear buds needs SERIOUS color calibration gamma needs setup perfect or edges seem to wash out
