Asus ML248H

The Asus ML248H is a sleek 24-inch monitor that delivers blur-free video and gaming action for a penny a day.

Affordably priced. Sleek design. Environmentally friendly. Great gaming and video performance.

Limited connectivity options. Some reddish tinting. Lacks speakers.

ASUS ML248H 24” Monitor Review

While the ASUS ML248H isn’t a slam dunk success like the larger, more expensive IPS-totting PA246Q it still has a long list of attributes that will surely appeal to its intended market. Its combination of white and glossy black is certainly eye...

Asus ML248H Designo ML Series Review

Kitguru has reviewed many monitors over the last year including those from industry leaders Dell and iiyama. In June we reviewed the Asus MS236H, a stylish monitor which appealed on a design level, but left us wanting in other areas. It delivered much...

KitGuru says: A massive improvement for Asus and a panel worth buying.

ok

Wish it had more responsive buttons.

Cheap 24" screen ; Looks great

The buttons that switch between HDMI and VGA inputs are kinda clunky. Took me a good 30 mins and a phone call to get it to work right you have to hold your finger over the button for like a full 5 secs to click it

Classy, Non-Traditional Display

I also own one of the previous ML-series monitors from ASUS, with the original ring-stand design. This newer version is better in every way, other than the added weight of the stand. I primarily use it for LAN parties, because it can be disassembled...

This monitor violates a lot of the traditional design characteristics of LCD displays ; TN-Panel; very low latency, much faster than IPS or PVA. Relatively good viewing angles, good color reproduction ; Unique dual-mode stand: works with or without the...

No height adjustment (ring stand is simple, height isn't the point) ; No VESA mount (would eliminate the ring stand; not the point of this model) ; Only 2 inputs (DVI, D-sub/VGA); no DisplayPort ; Capacitive buttons can be triggered unintentionally by...

My Eyes!!

If you're using an ATI card, you'll have to set the scaling to 0% in the CCC. Otherwise the screen doesn't fill entirely. This is also a small issue on some games like Just Cause 2, where they reset the scaling to some higher value. If this is the...

VERY bright, yet it doesn't hurt your eyes. You can pick up a lot of details on this thing that you can't on other HD monitors. I just switched over from a 24" Acer monitor due to some issues I was having with it and I have to say, this one is much...

Asus ML248H 24-inch Monitor

My unit was missing a mounting screw for the base ring to the monitor. The design of the mounting screws shows that it was never inserted after the hole was tapped, it's impossible for the original screw to "fall out" due to the design the manufacturer...

Beautiful display. The contrast gives bright whites and deep blacks after some adjustment. This is not an out of the box monitor as you'll have to make changes to correct the presets for a proper image ; 60Hz refresh rate in 1920 x 1080 I can't see...

LEDs for the back-lighting are located on the left had side of the monitor. There is an uneven wash of gama on the left side near the bezel. Settings can only mask this as it is a flaw in the junction (space) between the light diffuser and the...
