Great color, no dead pixels, slight ghosting.

This was a great first monitor, coming from 1366 x 768, this is a real beauty!

-Color is amazing -Matte screen (depends on personal preference) -Good, cost effective monitor.

-I get some ghosting in some games and in browsers. Anything with white backgrounds, really. -Thick, plastic bezel shows fingerprints easily -Stand is shaky.

Working for 3 years now

-Good Contrast -Backlighting does not hurt eyes

-Arrived with 1 dead pixel in the center of the screen -If you're standing up and looking down at the monitor, (ie, helping a friend that is sitting down at the PC) it is really hard to see compared to other monitors I've bought.

ASUS 24" monitor with rebate

Don't expect to get your rebate. I called Newegg and they did nothing. I've been a very long time customer but will never order another ASUS product with a rebate. They just wouldn't honor it.

It works fine.

It does not have a auto set-up. Must go into the laptop settings to set it up porperly.

came in convednient packaging for easy setup

I'd recommend this unit to my blind mother(sorry don't have a blind mother) but sure I recommend I was not sure about ASUS VS248H monitors but i am now. And yes I'm going to buy another ASUS monitor most likely ASUSVE Series VE278Q.

I like the adjustible stand. The cableing provided a hdmi and normal pin type. All cable slid into their slots easily and didnt jiggle or feel loose.The the controls attenuation of the picture is great and has excellent rage from hi to low. I am...

this is the only con probably not a real con but it would have been nice if the unit came packaged with a sample cleaner and wipe.

Dead and hot pixels on arrival

-I recommend skipping this monitor if you're going to do any gaming and go for the ASUS VG248QE

-value priced -You do get a lot for your money -Its ASUS, wanted to match my ASUS G20CB gaming desktop
