Good quality sound but...

When I read other reviews, I just did not understand why people are listing their favorite setting for this monitor. I thought that was for gamers, but for this monitor, you may need to change some of the settings to be able to read and write...

Sharpness (0.248mm pixel pitch), thin, light, and compact body design, 2 HDMI ports, excellent price tag, very clear picture with wide viewing angle (both horizontal and vertical)

Default settings cannot be trusted (for writing and reading intensive work), cannot change the height or swing the monitor, very touchy sensor for the menu

Very good monitor for the price!

Sharpness (0.248mm pixel pitch), thin, light, and compact body design, 2 HDMI ports, excellent price tag, very clear picture with wide viewing angle (both horizontal and vertical)

Fantastic Monitor

It's very aesthetically pleasing, brilliant color contrast, premium look, feel and build quality, very easy to setup, includes a DVI to HDMI cable, and of course ASUS branding. Absolutely fantastic monitor

Good monitor for non gamers

I paid $150 each and at that price it's a decent monitor. One of them has tearing which is frustrating. I bet there are better monitors out there with a smaller bezel for the price. I'll probably go with a different brand for my next monitor purchase.

I purchased two of these monitors at the same time ; The stand is sturdy and monitor is relatively slim ; Monitor is light enough to be easily moved around ; Color is quite nice offering a decent range of settings ; Anti glare layer works very well

No VESA mount ; One of the two monitors has tearing when gaming or watching videos ; The bezel is larger than what is pictured

WOW! I love this monitor.

This monitor blows away my 2nd monitor. I wish I had bought one of these sooner.

Brightness, colors, clarity, detail. This monitor is higher res than my old one and I am ready to throw my 2nd monitor away and get another one of these

Doesn't have a height adjustment. I want the monitor to be more eye level. So I will have to buy some monitor stands

Died after 3 months

I wouldn't get this monitor again - haven't had great luck with many asus products.

It is a decent, small IPS 1080p monitor with a decent brightness and contrast

Title says it all - it was a decent monitor, but the image started flickering after about 3 months of use ; Hasn't stopped flickering since - all it does is flicker the image

Just wanted to correct myself

Correct something in my previous review. The description does in fact say it comes with 2x HDMI cables, I was only looking at the product photo which clearly didn't show any, so there's that. Sorry to the guy I doubted, you were right, the description...

Almost Perfect

I found a list of monitors just using Newegg's power search, looking for anything with at least 1 DVI port and a few other necessities I needed; this one was in the list but does not have a DVI port (and I misread the D-SUB port as DVI when reviewing...

Clear picture ; Vibrant colors ; High contrast ratio ; Great viewing angle ; Light weight ; Thin ; Decently priced

The buttons are a little weird ; Came with no video cables, even though they were listed in the specs
