BenQ FP992

Slim bezel design ; Can pivot ; SRGB color space ; Clear. legible text ; Easy-to-use controls ; Analog and digital inputs

Colors were somewhat washed out ; Pronounced color shifting at 45-degree angle ; Some details lost in the shadows of grayscale images

BenQ FP992

Today we have got a 19? LCD from BenQ; a company that is fairly new to the industry manufacturing great products. They sent us their pivoting 19? FP992 LCD which is equipped with a response time of 25 ms and a 700:1 contrast ratio. In many ways this...

BenQ has designed a great pivoting display that provides very rich colours.

Solid Purchase

bought this as a second monitor for my laptop and it's been a pretty useful and reliable purchase.

Consistent ; Auto adjusting ; Decently sized monitor ; great price

stand is somewhat rigid ; no dvi (but that's alright at this price)

BenQ T903

I'm looking forward to a new technowledgy taking over for LCDs. It's frustrating looking at the green dot but if I had to buy another monitor now I would still order a second T903. For the price, it is solidly built and has both DVI and VGA.

Big and Cheap

I have one dead pixel. It glows bright green and is very ditracting. It's a roll of the dice

crosshatch pattern

Buy something else.

Inexpensive

Annoying crosshatch pattern visible with eye movement, perhaps due to color dithering. Co-worker see it too

Consumer review (newegg.com)

Good overall quality, some minor screen artifacts

Overall good quality office monitor, defects do not hinder usability and are not visible with moving pictures like video or games; but for a perfect image this is not your monitor.

Excellent Brightness, Contrast

Display was extremely bleached on default settings. Had to adjust contrast, brightness, and color channels for half an hour to make it look right ; Screen has an interlaced feel to it. Every other pixel line is slightly brighter, and can make for...

Great monitor for the price

If I was getting a second LCD monitor, I would definitely consider buying another.

Overall excellent monitor. No dead pixels. Fast shipping with Newegg as usual

No DVI cable. In my opinion, the default settings for contrast and brightness make the colors a little washed out
