BenQ G2220HD

For those on a tight budget, the BenQ G2220HD will prove a great 1080p monitor, costing no more than you'd pay for a conventional 16:10-format monitor with a lower resolution. An HDMI port is sadly lacking, but the monitor's colour reproduction is very...

Useful DVI and VGA inputs, Excellent colour performance

Horrible menu controls, No HDMI port

BenQ G2220HD

HD has become de facto standard in the multimedia market in the last few years. The days of VHS videos or even DVDs are already over. Moreover, with the entry of Blu-ray into the storage market, when you hit the video store to rent a new movie, you...

As a comparison, DVD players use the 480i/p with the 852*480 resolution. The term FULL HD usually covers a widescreen aspect ratio of 16:9 that has a horizontal resolution of 1920 pixels. Paired with the 1080 horizontal resolution, this gives you...

BenQ G2220HD 22-inch LCD monitor

BenQ's G2220HD 22in widescreen LCD monitor performs well but the lack of an HDMI input is a real let-down

Full HD resolution, good clarity and colour, price

No HDMI input, slight backlight bleeding, viewing angles aren't great

Boasting a Full HD resolution, BenQ's G2220HD 16:9 widescreen, 22in LCD monitor performs well but the lack of an HDMI input is a bit of a let-down.

BenQ G2220HD review

A good quality screen at a great price makes for a decent all-round option

Full HD Resolution ; Bright and colourful panel

Low viewing angle ; No height adjustment ; No HDMI

Although this panel is cheap and offers a good resolution, we don't think it offers the same quality as some newer rivals

BenQ G2220HD

The best bang for your buck might be found with this Full-HD monitor, as long as you're willing to overlook the absence of HDMI.

Full HD ; Low price

No HDMI/USB

This monitor offers good value for money, if you're not too picky about the color quality. At a time when the average 17 inch LCD monitor sells for Rs. 5,500 this BenQ Full-HD monitor with support for displaying 1080p screen resolution is a sweet...

BenQ G2220HD review

The two are broadly similar in terms of specifications, but there are significant differences - the most obvious of which can be discerned at a moment's glance. Whereas the Asus had a rather old-fashioned styling that (in places) tended towards the...

The BenQ G2220HD is another very nice example of a budget HD-capable panel. While marginally cheaper than the Asus, there’s very little difference in terms of performance. If anything, the BenQ offers that tiny bit of extra quality. And it does look...

BenQ G2220HD monitor review

These are rich times indeed for those in pursuit of a modestly priced but surprisingly effective flat-panel. Following on from the ultra-cheap Asus VH222H comes an even cheaper, and possibly better, screen from BenQ - the BenQ G2220HD.

Good buy at $150

Got it for $150. Well worth it . No HDMI, but it is something I did not need.

Great contrast, brightness, and vivid colors. Looks great out of the box. Requires little calibration. Very crisp and sharp images

Backlight bleed on top and bottom. It is not a deal breaker, but it would have been a 5 egg otherwise
