BenQ GW2760HS 27-in monitor Review

A monitor that stands out for its stellar contrast ratio and performance, the GW2760HS might be the only monitor to go for at this size and price. Oh and by the way, when we say stellar, we really mean stellar. No other monitor comes close, or even...

Excellent contrast ratio, Great overall performance

Wobbly stand, Colour shift at certain angles

BenQ promises its flicker-free 27-inch monitor will save you from eye-strain.

Flicker-free backlight reduces eye strain, Excellent contrast and brightness, Good colour production

So-so uniformity across screen, Low-resolution at large size

BenQ GW2760HS 27-inch monitor review: outstanding quality for the price

Large 27-inch display, flicker-free technology, non-glossy AG matte coating, fantastic colour gamut range, unobtrusive bezel, amazingly low price

Resolution not as high as Apple Cinema Display, colour accuracy isn’t as good as a high-end monitor

BenQ GW2760HM

Really, REALLY sharp picture. Beautiful, colours. (Not brash and 'in your face' like some other monitors) Very easy to set up. Beautiful to look at -even if it's off. Gorgeous!!

None whatsoever.

BenQ GW2760HM

It is nice and big and clear, but the width is taking a bit of getting used to and I am not yet using it to its full advantage. It is plug and play in Debian Linux and displays otb at what it thinks is its optimum resolution.

I find being told for 20 or 30 seconds every time I turn it back on that it is a Benq very annoying. It tempts me not to turn it off when I am not using it, which is environmentally unfriendly.
