BenQ V2400W

The BenQ V2400W is a decent performer that will spruce up any desktop.

Sleek design. Good text and color reproduction. HDMI port.

Grayscale performance not up to par. Narrow viewing angles. Limited adjustability. No DVI or HDMI cables.

BenQ V2400W review: BenQ V2400W

BenQ V2400W

Unique and aesthetically pleasing design with offset neck; thinnest 24-inch LCD we've seen; great overall performance, particularly on our contrast ratio benchmark when it exhibited deep blacks; easily accessible video connections.

Nonadjustable screen height; no screen rotation feature; OSD buttons are a little on the sensitive side; low maximum brightness.

With its offset neck and thin chassis, the BenQ V2400W presents a unique look. In addition to the sleek design, its low price and strong performance earn this 24-inch LCD our recommendation for home or office use.

BenQ V2400W

BenQ's V2400W is a great way to get a higher resolution at a cheap price, although some of the usual extras are left out along the way.

Decent quality image, Great resolution and size for an affordable price, Distinct style

DVI and HDMI cables not included, No height or swivel adjustment, Menu buttons are a bit unwieldy to use, Poor PlayStation 3 performance over HDMI

BenQ V2400W

Stylish LCD with HDMI support

Design, colour levels, fast response time, touch-sensitive controls, no noticeable ghosting during gaming and movie playback

Average viewing angles, finer details sometimes lost, only a VGA cable included, no wall mounting option

BenQ’s V2400W features a stylish design, and its excellent performance in most areas means that it’s ideal for the typical PC user or gamer. The addition of HDMI should also appeal to console owners.

BenQ V2400W 24in LCD monitor

We set out to discover if the slimmest 24in LCD monitor in the world can still fit a good panel under its gorgeous hood.

For a 24in designer monitor, BenQ's V2400W is very affordable. And though it is unfortunate that it fails to match its stunning looks and incredibly slender chassis with equally amazing image quality or ergonomics, it still offers a reasonable...

BenQ V2400W review

BenQ isn't a name you'd traditionally associate with aesthetic perfection, but its new BenQ V2400W monitor is a radical attempt by the company to move into a more stylish area of desktop computing.

The BenQ V2400W offers reasonable quality and some great design motifs - it's a real shame that the cheap feeling stand lets it down. Also, we'd like to see more cables included at this sort of price.
