Screen is nice and bright, but text is not crisp. In order to be able to use this for work you'll have to turn the resolution down so far you might as well have bought a 15" monitor. Don't buy it!

Here's a warning: don't buy this unless you can find your own stand (Amazon does not carry the stand for this TV. In typical HP fashion, they design a wicked 42-inch touchscreen when there is nothing like it on the market and then manage to muck it up...
