This works on 2 mounting screws, and secures to itself with another. Even with a lightweight monitor, you MUST install into studs (not always convenient), and make sure you get your security screws right the first time - they will strip themselves out...

I bought two of these. One died after 3 months, so I sent it in to get fixed. When I got it back it worked well. Now they are both broke. The good news is that Microtek is replacing them with a new model(c593). Hopefully that one works better.
