We have a look at the little brother to the recently reviewed U2311H; the U2211H. Does smaller mean not as good?

As a standalone monitor the U2211H has no problems standing on its own merit. The smaller size compared to the U2311H means it will be nicer for some users and not so much for others. Buying one or the other will come down to personal preference and...

Excellent image quality, attractive design, good build quality

Slightly darker towards edge of screen, minor backlight bleeding on top and bottom edges, no HDMI

Just too perfect!

 

Throwing it into portrait mode is sometimes difficult due to how large the screen is, but that's expected. This is an absolutely amazing monitor.

Beautiful display ; Brand new, this is why I wrote not as described, it's just too perfect ; Not one dead pixel ; Absolutely no backlight bleed ; Not one scratch or scuff anywhere

Scratched LCD

 

I am disappoint, but I'll see if the Iron Egg thing can help.

This is the 2nd one I ordered. No bad pixels. LCD was wrapped in plastic, however

It's odd, but the top bezel was slightly apart on this one as well. I snapped it back together as before ; More importantly, the LCD was poorly packaged. The cables were loose in the box and the foam support for the LCD was not supporting it correctly....

Actually 1920x1080

 

Sorry, this isn't really a review -- according to Dell's site, this is 1920x1080, not 1920x1200. I'm sure it's a brilliant monitor -- Dell's IPS monitors are universally fantastic in my experience
