Envision EN2028

If you're ready to move to a 20-inch LCD monitor, the Envision EN2028 delivers good digital performance at a reasonable price.

Good digital performance. Dual inputs.

Lacks swivel and pivot adjustments. Weak analog performance. Subpar warranty coverage.

Envision EN2028

It's not just your dirty glasses; Envision should have checked with an optometrist to check for image quality first.

Inexpensive

Lacks ergo options; poor image quality

What’s more, we observed significant ghosting in our game tests. (Interestingly, all of the LCDs in this roundup are spec’d with an 8ms response time.) If you’re looking to save money, there are plenty of 19-inch LCDs that cost the same, or less, and...

DVI problems with Nvidia cards

Some of you that are using Nvidia cards should know that Nvidia's DVI bandwidth is inferior to ATI's. This results in image artifacts at high refresh rates at 1600x1200. In the worst cases, you have to go down to 1280x1024 to eliminate them. This...

i dont think so

Remember, I returned this to the Manufacturer and they sent me a brand new factory sealed one, which had the SAME EXACT problem. If you dont notice this problem, you're blind.

This is in response to the previous review. There is nothing wrong with refresh rate or graphics card. I tried the monitor on 5 computers, each with different graphics cards, that dont have any stuttering with any other monitor. Its the monitor

Just FYI my computer at home is a X2 3800+, 2GB RAM and dual 7800 GTX in SLI. I tried it with each individual 7800, then I took it to work on and tried on a few Dell's at the office. Same problem

ENVISION EN-2028 Black 20" 12ms LCD Monitor 250 cd/m2 700:1

I don't know what happened to the last person on here, he's having some refresh rate problems, or needs a new graphics card, either way the monitor is worth the money, I have two now.

The monitor not only gives a lot of bang for the buck, but it backs it with a 3 YEAR WARRANTY, which I can't say for viewsonic, and when this monitor is compared to, is identical and half the price

The sourcing code for the drivers to enable on screen touch with a keyboard wouldn't allow enabling, would cause an error, drivers for monitor would not cross reference for XP 64

ENVISION EN-2028 Black 20" 12ms LCD Monitor 250 cd/m2 700:1

As someone else mentioned, to get the 1600x1200 resolution you should modify the INF file. I wanted an all purpose monitor, for everything from coding to gaming. I love the picture, I had a wonderful CRT before this and I think this monitor is...

Beautiful Picture ; Good max resolution, 1600x1200 ; Overall, a wonderful monitor for anything besides gaming

Stuttering Problem ; It really varies game to game, but from what I can tell the monitor just can't keep up with the stuff being giving to it causing a stuttering problem when there is alot of movement on the screen. It is also much worse at 1600x1200,...

ENVISION EN-2028 Black 20" 12ms LCD Monitor 250 cd/m2 700:1

for the reviewer below (and future prospective buyers): Install the Envision driver...PnP driver works fine but the Envision driver has a different colour profile that may fit the panel better. To get 1600*1200 back, you have two ways: 1. BEFORE you...

Originally I was thinking about a getting a 2005FPW because of its widescreen aspect ratio and low price. I've heard tons of excellent reviews about those 2005FPW, but I've always felt a little fuzzy about widescreens - mostly of its wasted space in...

some ghosting in FPS shooters at 1600*1200 and 1280*960/1024, but this may be due to my video card being too old (Radeon 9700) ; does not always work properly with 1280*1024 ; no rotational adjustments (but I'm just asking too much)

Great value

As usual Newegg delivered fast, and to my delight not a single dead pixel! I am using for gaming and do not have the stuttering problem another reviewer reported and I hav to say that (part from the cable length issue which is not too serious in my...

Great price, good bright picture

Beautiful Ending

I was reading PC Gamer's geniune praise for Newegg.com as I was thinking about buying an lcd monitor. After visiting the site and about 20 others that looked promising, I found my jewel, my diamond, my Envision EN-2028. I ordered it and had high hopes...
