Hanns.g 281

Have had 2 HH models since early 2010 and 2 HZ models since early late 2011/early 2012. The have performed flawlessly from the beginning and continue do so today. Have them mounted on a quad stand. I absolutely love the greater screen real estate and...

Not bad

It's refurbished, but for a first time from Hanns-G I think they may have made a customer for life: if this is refurbished, how nice are the new ones?!

I can't say that I'm regretting buying this monitor, it's quick, looks really good, is very bright, and has all the connections I could want: 2 HDMI, and a VGA. Did I mention it was bright

So bright that I can't stare at it when I wake up? or that you can see my silhouette outside my window ; But despite this it does have actual shortcommings ; Mine came with 2 stuck pixels, though a quick massage fixed them, they come back every so...

Nice huge monitor - when it works

I'd rather pay $30-$100 more and have a monitor that would last me a good 3-5 years without an issue.

Nice Large Monitor

I have had this for less than 3 years and I need to send it back for the second time for the same thing. The backlight has gone out. All I have is a Bright white screen and the smell of burning electronics on the back end of it. Even worse I called 4...

Overall nice monitor

I'd like to see Samsung return to making 28 inch monitors with 1920x1200 resolution.

This is the perfect size monitor, in my opinion. It has the maximum size without going to 2560x1600, which usually means connecting both ports on a dual-port video card. It also has more vertical height than the full HD 1920x1080 monitors, which makes...

Image quality is good, but not quite as good as my same-size I-Inc monitor, which is no longer available

Amazing

A remote would have been nice. Most other monitors in this range seem to have one and it comes in handy at times. Comes with a full set of cables for different connection options. Got this with free shipping from New Egg, so I expected it to take a...

What an amazing looking monitor for the price. It's huge. Going from a 22" widescreen to this monitor, and I was beginning to think it might not be able to fit on my desk. Colors are bright, contrast is great. had to turn the brightness down to 40% to...

While this screen is amazing for gaming and movies, it may be a little too big for casual everyday use. I find myself having to turn my head back and fourth a bit as I move the mouse from side to side of the screen. A small inconvienience for what is...

Save yourself $300 and don't buy

I started off thinking it was just bad luck, but all three of ours have gone bad in less then a year. I am not much to make a review and waste my time if i wasn't adamant about this being a poorly designed monitor

Extremely nice brightness/color

I bought this exact monitor back in may from newegg and loved it, so i recommended it to my friend who was building a computer shortly after me (I actually built his computer for him). I also recommended it to another friend who i play with online ; My...

Hanns·G HH-281HPB Black 28" 3ms HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor 400 cd/m2 DC 15000:1(800:1) Built in Speakers

Great monitor for the price. I hope it lasts!

HUGE. This monitor sits next to my old 22' monitor and dominates. No dead pixels

Slow to wake up under Ubuntu Linux. However, this is far from a dealbreaker

Excellent Value

Note, I am not a gamer nor am I watching movies, I am using these for Windows 7/2008 R2 work and some Linux. I hate widescreen monitors, and with the 16:10 aspect ratio at 1920 x 1200 resolution, you get a ton of usable real-estate. I bought 2 for a...

At $299.99 for a 27.5" monitor, the value is exceptional. Bright crisp images. I consider the aspect ratio a plus

None that I can see

Big, Bright, Beautiful and Inexpensive

Although nobody will confuse this for the $1000+ 30" 2560x1600 monitors out there, this is a perfectly good monitor for gaming and software development.

Huge ; less common/more useful 1200 pixel vertical resolution ; Comes with necessary cables

Menu controls a little awkward, difficult to read ; Lack of DVI input
