Great Monitor

Someone in a previous review complained about the stand being created by a 3rd grader, this is a gross exaggeration. Firstly it is not cheaply made. Secondly it does not take up the same room as a CRT. This panel was made to adjust height, angle, tilt...

I purchased the monitor thru another source but wanted to review it here ; Pros ; 16x10 (1920x1200), bright, great colors, easy to use power button and adjustment buttons, nice on screen adjustments via OSD, various scaling options when displaying...

Viewing angle wasn't as great as I had hoped. This is a TN panel so it is expected to have this issue, especially with such a large screen size. It's not terrible, but there is some slight dimming for instance when I slouch a bit in my chair. To get...

Very uneven backlight

I'm used to high-end monitors and didn't expect perfection given the price. I'm still very disappointed in how much the background varies between the top and bottom of this monitor.

16x10 ratio ; Decent price

Very poor backlight consistency. Much darker at the top

Good size, Great resolution

Haven't try the monitor on games, so I can't tell how response time will affect gaming experience

using the correct cable (Dual-link DVI Connectors) not the single link (the one that comes in the box) this monitor will give you accurate colors after calibration, Contrast is pretty good compared with monitors with same price. I use this monitor for...

Single link cable :( ..they should include the dual-link one ...if you are a gamer perhaps this is not a problem

Fantastic display. Buy this

Lots of discussion on 16:9 Vs 16:10. Personally I prefer 16:10 because I use it more as a computer monitor than as a TV. When showing HD video, thre is a black bar (only 60 pixels) on the top and bottom but you won't notice them becasue they are the...

Gorgeous display. The glossy screen somehow doesn't cause glare in my brightly lit office. Playing HD content on it through my PC Tuner card is unbelievable ; Best part is the base. It swivels, tilts and has height adjustment. Most other don't have...

A web cam would be cool, but that's not something I'd trade for the great stand and great picture

Solid, Professional Monitor

This monitor is worth the price. Sure you could save a couple hundred bucks and get a 24 inch TN panel but then you run the risk of color bleed, color shift, and dead pixel issues. I spent a couple hundred less on a TN panel and after having all three...

Beautiful colors. No color shifting. No dead or stuck pixels. Dark consistent blacks. All the inputs you could want (and all the cables too!). Software calibration tools are great and should be good enough for most users. Worth spending the extra cash...

Input lag is not ideal for REALLY fast games. I measured it as about 25 ms on average. It's not even enough of an issue to take an egg off. I've only sorta noticed it when playing Quake Live (and after a few weeks I've adapted to the lag and the...

HP's site says Dual Link needed over 1920x1080

HP User said his worked fine. I guess he's running 1920x1080 because that's really the only way it'd look good.

Here's a short link (remove the spaces) ; ht tp://is. gd/239RS ; On HP's web site that pretty clearly indicates that for your viewing pleasure, you need to use a Dual Link cable for resolutions over 1920 x 1080

Here's a long one (remove the white spaces again) ; ht tp://h20000.w w w2.hp.c om/biz support ; TechSupport/Document.jsp ; lang=en ; cc=sg ; taskId=115 ; prodSeriesId=3648402 ; prodTypeId=382087 ; objectID=c00259929
