HP LP3065 Monitor

HP's 30-inch LCD monitor, the LP3065, turned in impressive image quality in our tests. It also has a nice design and unique features that set it apart. Like other 30-inch displays, it's pricey, but it might be worth it if your work demands lots of...

Outstanding image quality Includes three DVI ports

Does not have OSD controls

But the LP3065 costs $1699, which is quite a bit for a display. Granted, you do get excellent image quality and lots of room to spread out in, and if you crave viewing detail in your photos and documents, the LP3065 might be worth the splurge

With strong image quality and a pleasant design, the HP LP1965 is a fine 19-inch monitor for home or office use.

Intuitive on-screen menus, Tilts, swivels and pivots smoothly

No cord management

Hewlett-Packard HP LP2465

Retested under our new protocol (see "How We Test"), the HP LP2465 performed well on both text and graphics. This 24-inch wide-screen LCD was particularly strong with photos and offered good details and contrast at default settings. Its scores...

Great image quality, highly adjustable

Limited connectivity, no HDCP support

HP LP2465 review

Spreadsheets aren't likely to be the first thing you think of when presented with a 24-inch wide-screen display. As HP's largest office-LCD product, however, the HP LP2465 shuns multimedia features for business simplicity; this monitor omits component...

Bright, crisp image; incredible contrast ratio; stable and flexible stand; fast pixel-response time; all the cables you'll need are included; three-year warranty.

Limited video connections underscore the point that this is an office display, despite its large size; no media card reader; DVD playback is blurry at times.

The HP LP2465 is a great business LCD, should your workday require a huge, wide-screen display. Trouble is, Dell has a similar display that gives you more features at roughly the same price.

HP LP2065

The HP LP2065's tasteful appearance, better-than-average image quality, and high degree of adjustability make it a good choice for everyday computing in a wide variety of professional venues.

Good image quality; highly adjustable; four extra USB 2.0 ports; calibration and asset management software included.

Some adjustments are difficult to make smoothly; colors and grays show greenish tints.

The HP LP2065 is viable for business, corporate-office, or no-nonsense home use, but similar LCDs are available for less.

Can HP reign supreme in monitor massivity in spite of graphical anomalies during gameplay and normal use?

Strange hiccup in screen action leads to problems in games

Curious as to how this activity might show itself elsewhere, we fired up our game tests. When we moved through the game environments in a similar fashion, the hitch was evident, as were signs of image tearing. We explained the anomaly to HP, received a...
