Gorgeous

Buy it!

This monitor gives stunning color and picture quality, and its BEASTLY huge. WoW looks AMAZING. I havent watched any tv or Blu-Rays yet, but am eagerly anticipating doing so

Slightly bulky, heavy and awkward, but not so much so to remove a top rating

Get out the sunglasses!

Like I mentioned, it is very bright. Whites and blacks are right on. Big, shiny, beautiful screen. Lots of extra configuration options for a more dynamic model than my previous HP2207. The 2.5 response time is quite noticeable compared to the 6ms on...

No complaints, just observations... these speakers may as well not be built in; they are pitiful. The shiny screen adds to glare problem; however, that is fixed with the intensity of backlight

Beautiful color

I didn't order from newegg (sorry) bought direct due to the coupon I was able to get.

the color on this monitor is outstanding 92% color gamut and it shows, where most monitors are in the 72% range. setup was a breeze took about 15min to get it out of the box and fine tuned due to the brightness set at 100% HP offers many presets if you...

Total Eye Candy

I purchased this through HP direct at $300 so for the price I'm pleased

I had it narrowed down to this monitor and the Samsung P2770FH. I wanted the Samsung because of its 1ms response time for all the pc gaming that I do. There was something about the HP that I admired so much more. The HP looks bigger, and I fell in love...

The only reason why I could not give this fine piece of equipment 5 eggs is because of its high power consumption. 130W, is as much as my old 18" CRT viewsonic used

I can't believe it's 24 inches!

At first I thought that it was too big, but after playing Black Ops on it for a couple hours I was completely sold.

Wow, is this thing huge, but completely awesome. Will need to tune back light down a little bit as it's very bright, which is a good thing. Great picture and sharpness and the color contrasts are stunning

Shouldn't have waited

As a gamer the display pretty much comes out of the box ready to go; remember to adjust over-scanning/under-scanning on your video driver console. Brightness will never need to go above 50%. Picked mine up in Hawaii on sale for $349 after seeing the...

Simple design, very bright, straight forward OSD, solid build, Wow factor, black levels blend nicely in dark games (no nasty artifacts)

Not a fan of digital documentation, Top marquee sticker will take a few minutes to peel off completely. Very minor complaints

HP2710m

There are a few quirks in the onscreen adjustments 'that take afew times to get used too otherwise BUY this and quit squinting.

Well I won't go to Bablefish/Tech explination to try and dazzel the pro's out there. I have both the HPw2558bc and this HP 2710m. I have to admit this 2710m has gotten more then just a few.WOW's from visitors. I have not experianced any of the troubles...

Only con is that I wish Newegg would quit selling systems 'that should ( in this case) be in the 800 too 1200 range to everybody and just give me these prices :)

Great monitor

The size of this monitor is excellent. It just about doubles the real estate that I had with my 20 inch 1:1 monitor. This makes it much easier to multitask with word processing, browsing and other activities that tend to use space.

Excellent contrast, brightness, color, response and sharpness. The back-light at 100% is enough to give you a suntan. I turned mine down to less than 50% and am pleased with it

HP 2710m Black 27" 2.5ms(GTG) Widescreen Full HD LCD Monitor 400 cd/m2 DC 60000:1(1000:1)

I'm not extremely educated in the field of graphics but one question. Is this thing capable of 3D?

Amazing picture. By far the best monitor I have ever owned. Great for games, especially large army games like RTS games. I've owned it for over a year now and have used it for many hours of gaming. So far no dead pixels or anything to complain of

Sometimes I after waking up from standby my other monitors come up but this one I have to press the power button on

Great Monitor

Again, it's a great monitor for a great price, HP just needs to get rid of that obnoxious sticker.

A great monitor for a great price. HP clearly put some thought into the design and aesthetics of the monitor and the end result is an excellent looking monitor. I've never used the built in speakers so I can't judge sound quality, but I can say that HP...

The is a sticker on the top left of the monitor that is extremely difficult to get off without leaving residue. The monitor required repeated applications of solvents to get it off. This is not a reason not to get this monitor, but if you work for HP...
