A Review of the LG 27MU67-B 27″ Class 4K UHD IPS LED Monitor – 27MU67

LG is no stranger to assembling some absolutely excellent display screens, whether they be in TVs, smartphones or PC monitors, and the LG 27MU67-B 27" Class 4K UHD IPS LED Monitor is no exception to this tendency. While certainly not the finest 4K PC...

Excellent sRGB coverage ; Great color accuracy ; Solid physical design ; FreeSync for 4K and HD gaming ; Decent price

Weak connectivity options ; Modest contrast levels ; Lacks tilt and rotation adjustment in stand

The LG 27MU67 27" Class 4K UHD IPS LED Monitor is above average in terms of quality for its price range but it also lacks a few key things that would have made it into a much better piece of 4K PC display technology. Nonetheless, we still recommend it...

Great ips 4k 60hz freesync monitor

in all these 4k monitor out there this was the only freesync ips monitor wasnt sure between this one and the samsung tn pannel freesync 28 inch but im glad i picked the lg 27mu67 exept for the 50$ off but this dont have anything to do with the product...

- ips - pretty good viewing angle - Freesync - can rotate the screen to almost any angle - good menu

-Bought it on sale.. however the day right after it was another 50$ off... - i dont know why but even with freesync turned on i see some weird stuff going on even at 60 or 85 fps( limited it to 85 might be the reason) using a single r9 290 however i...

Worth the money

My first attempt with 4k was with the ASUS PB287Q for a week. I couldn't stand the TN panel even though it was the best I've seen for one. It advertises as a 10 bit panel, for the life of me I couldn't get it to work with my 290x. It also didn't have...

4k IPS screen 10 bit panel Great colour with some tweaking No need for Anti-Aliasing Freesync Low input lag for IPS (even has a setting to improve it as best as it can) No Stuck or Dead pixels Scaling down to 1440P or 1080P look pretty good from native 4k

Freesync is only targeted from 40hz to 60hz Little bit of ghosting and light bleed, but it is an IPS panel Need beefy cards to run at 4k touch sensitive control buttons

Best monitor ive ever owned

The viewing angles are great. The colors are RICH I cannot stress this enough. RICH.It looks like im playing totally different games. Blows the cheapo LED 1440p panel I had prior out of the water. I havent had a monitor with an up and down stand in...

Not really a con more of a learning curve. To get Freesync to work you must first ENABLE it in the monitor settings! Took me way to long to figure that out

Great display

I have a 3 monitor setup, with this in the center and 2 1080p monitors on the sides. The 1080p monitors look really terrible in comparison, and they are pretty high-quality IPS monitors for photo editing. I guess I'll eventually have to buy two more 4k...

The color is great, the display doesn't have any visible issues, and 4k resolution is really nice for gaming and photo editing. Freesync is REALLY nice. It operates from 40hz-60hz, and makes a huge difference in screen tearing

Better than my NEC PA271W !

This monitor is amazing. Out of the box calibration is good. After calibration with X-Rite Display Pro, the black are at 13 cd/m2, and the contrast is 776 to 1. I can play 4k videos at 60 frames per second using Geforce GTX750ti/sc graphic card. For...

An excellent 4K monitor

I was considering this or the Samsung U28E850R, the European version of the U28D590. I almost bought the U28E850R even though it is a TN panel because it supported 10-bit color and a rear soundbar. Then I saw a review which said this panel was a 10-bit...

10-bit color IPS AdaptiveSync panel. Goes from off to full on in under 3 seconds. Excellent colors. The default brightness was too bright, a good problem to have. Audio through DisplayPort and HDMI works. Changing resolutions is seamless; there is no...

The controls are sensitive and un-intuitive. Changing inputs is not quick or easy. I thought about getting two of these and use the second as a double my TiVo mini. But there was no quick way to change inputs, especially since the front buttons are...
