Works in Linux as of 3/12

A lot of real-estate, pretty easy on the eyes. Overall pretty nice.

Does work in Linux Ubuntu at least using ATI closed source driver to run two of them at 1680x1050 each, virtual desktop of 3360x2100. Open Source ATI driver also got one of them working 1680x1050 but did not proceed with dual-head with that driver

Hard to tilt, does not raise/lower, very low to ground so need books /boxes to put them on top of. Only one input, vga, kills DVI output or using 2 inputs with one monitor

Not Bad

Haven't tried highest rez, running at 1440/900.

Decent display, low price ($190 AR)

No DVI, had to download drivers from NEC, no CD included

I feel a bit cheated between the advertised resolution and the actual, manufacturer supported resolution (not sure where the blame lies, but I still love Newegg). It wouldn't be a big deal but Linux is my primary OS.

Big monitor for a decent price. Great response time and easy menu layout

Currently not Linux friendly. 1680x1050 works fine under Windows, does not work at all under Linux. Best I can get is the manual maximum spec of 1440x900 (with manual configuration) ; Also, advertised as 1680x1050 but the manual's maximum supported...
