The ideal front-desk display

NEC's LCD1770VX has so-so image quality, but its clean, classic design, handy cable-management system, and clever connector cover make it a great option for high-visibility workstations.

Analog and digital inputs; clean design; sturdy, highly adjustable base; easy onscreen-menu navigation with joystick.

Mediocre image quality; expensive for a 17-inch monitor.

Most 17-inch monitors can't match the NEC MultiSync LCD1770VX's clean appearance and ease of use; however, so-so image quality limits the NEC's appeal.

it works...looks a bit beat though

I will keep buying these as Point of Sale (P oh S is also banned) monitors. Nice and cheap and nothing fancy. The cosmetics leave many things to be desired, but from what I can tell, these monitors will work for a while.

CHEAP. Very cheap. DVI and VGA. NEC build quality, the AK-47 of monitors (and it shows). I have all expectations of this thing performing well over its life. Also, out of the 3 I got, no dead pixels. 1280x1024 resolution, pretty high for something this...

All three that I got look absolutely BEAT. The cases are scratched, have sharpie on them, tape bits, sticky goo, and crusty *other* on them. I honestly don't think these are refurbished at all, since I found tape on one that was covering the two halves...
