NEC MultiSync LCD1970GX

Text looks crisp and graphics vibrant on this monitor's glossy screen.

With clean-lined text, nice graphics, and a four-port USB 2.0 hub, NEC's MultiSync LCD1770GX should fill the bill for many common applications.

NEC Multisync LCD1970GX Monitor

The $499 NEC MultiSync LCD1970GX impressed our jury with its clear text and rich color reproduction. In fact, it achieved the highest overall score by a 19-inch monitor that we've seen lately. Although it didn't receive the top number on any of our...

Beautiful, glossy screen

Plain, boxy design

The LCD1970GX's plain, boxy design and lack of visual accents may not thrill you, but it's the great screen that makes this monitor a looker. Good thing its height-adjustable stand makes it easy to bring the display to a comfortable eye level. Its...

NEC-Mitsubishi MultiSync LCD1970GX

The 19-inch NEC MultiSync LCD1970GX ($550 street) monitor offers an impressive array of features. It boasts an 8-ms pixel-response rate, dual signal inputs, four powered USB ports, and a slick user interface with a tiny joystick on the front panel....

Analog and digital inputs. Includes powered USB ports. Well-labeled front-panel controls and easy-to-use on-screen menu

Weak viewing-angle performance. Weak response on both ends of the gray scale. Significant smearing of moving images in spite of the panel's 8-ms pixel-response rating

NEC-Mitsubishi touts this 19-inch monitor as excellent for viewing videos, playing games, and editing digital photos, but the MultiSync LCD1970GX fails to live up to expectations. It has features that some users may want, such as USB ports and a...

NEC MultiSync LCD1970GX

An 8ms response time and a vibrant glossy picture could make this 19in LCD a friend of gamers and movie viewers alike, but an enemy of ambient lighting.

At £378.49 this looks like a reasonably priced 19in LCD monitor intended for those that enjoy playing video games or watching movies in a darkened room. The 8ms response time helps keep motion smearing to a minimum too. A difficult monitor to rate...

NEC MultiSync LCD1970GX

NEC has been dividing its large-diagonal LCDs into two series for a long time: a progressive series based on S-IPS (bright representatives: 1960NXi, 1980SXi) and an inexpensive series based on MVA/TN+film panels. However, the updated model range made a...

Simply Awesome!

I owned a 19" dell CRT before moving to this LCD panel. Saved a lot of space on my desktop while still maintaining great picture and color. Would recommend to anyone. Price is great for the high-end specs this monitor has.

Beautiful monitor! I went to Best Buy beforehand to look at 19" monitors and this one stopped me in my tracks. The opticlear screen gives it a sleek look. Picture and color is great. DVI makes it even better. My roommate and I now both own one. Neither...

Awsome

Highly recomended!

This monitor is very nice, to say the least. The picture is very bright and sharp, with both analog and DVI. No dead pixels. USB uplink

Price dropped significantly shortly after purchase, but thats the way it is with technology
