Good image quality; highly adjustable; composite and S-Video inputs; picture-in-picture; all cables included.

Expensive; no cable-feed system.

Planar's pricey PX212M delivers solid image quality and a useful array of multimedia and connectivity options to users who need a large display.

For it's age, this monitor does very well.

 

All together if you don't mind using a 4:3 aspect ratio, and you can find one of these monitors for cheap, I would recommend it to you. It hasn't aged as well as it could, if it had been a 16:9 monitor, since most things have transitioned into that...

- Support for dvi-d - Great colors

This monitor does really poorly when given a composite video signal. I have yet to try s-video, but I have the feeling it doesn't handle analog signals well. It may just be the sheer size of the monitor, and low res from analog video.
