Samsung C34H890 34"

For some reason I can't get this display to run above 60hz. When i do, the screen just keeps going on and off all the time with the video imput sign at the top corner. Any insights on how to fix this??

The monitor works very well and everything but my monitor can display only 60 hz, im a gamer so i see this as a problem, can someone explain?
