Samsung SyncMaster 770P

You might think a price tag of $899 was a bit high for a 17in TFT display - about $100 too high. However, we reckon it justifies this extra cost.

Contrast Ratio, Adaptability and design, Sharp image quality

Expensive, Can't match colour performance of other models

It's pretty pricey, but we'd be prepared to pay for such superb contrast ratio, excellent design and sharp image quality. A top choice.

Samsung SyncMaster 770P

You might think a price tag of £269 was a bit high for a 17in TFT display – about £30 too high. However, we reckon it justifies this extra cost.

Image quality is sharp, although the colour depth isn't the best. But what we really liked about the SyncMaster 770P is the fact that it can be adjusted to suit the user in a variety of ways – it can be tilted, raised, lowered and rotated into...

It's a keeper!

I've had this monitor for about 10 months now. I persuaded the "powers that be" at work to get me one. I love it. I was a little disappointed by the refresh response time when I first got it which makes playing games quite difficult but once I got used...

Crisp, clear, groovy, just plain cool. Inexpensive for what you get.

Pixel response time leaves a little to be desired.

Not worth it

I don't know why this monitor is rated so highly. I owned it for about 7 months and sold it.

Worth Every Penny

This monitor is awesome. When I was searching for a new monitor I had to consider alot of different things such as space used, cost, and quality (nothing new if you are a smart shopper). I absolutely did not even consider a lcd monitor for those...

Fast, easy set up. No ghosting. Found my desktop again.

An Excellent Monitor at a Great Price

This monitor is all I hoped it would be. I work from home much of the time and decided to upgrade my system. I used to work at Apple and was still using a 4+ year old AppleVision 17" monitor with my Dell/Windows CPU. I decided that if I was going to...

save space, lose clarity

My company recently purchased a Samsung SyncMaster 770 TFT monitor for my Dell Dimension computer. I had been using a 21'' Trinitron monitor prior to the purchase. My job requires the creation and review of many graphical images so I was a bit...

Excellent 17inch LCD monitor.

The Samsung Syncmaster 770TFT is an excellent flat panel monitor. Though 15inch LCDs are less expensive, I found them too small (I bought the 770TFT to replace a dead 19inch Trinitron CRT). 18inch LCDs on the other hand cost nearly twice as much as...

Excellent analog to digital conversion, lite weight, simple to use

Some might not like the design of the stand.

17" Flatscreen at a Great Price

I was in the process of purchasing a new computer. I already had a 17 inch monitor, and had had thoughts of upgrading to a 19 inch or 21 inch. However, the thought of the extra space that they require was really an issue with me. The 19 & 21 inch...
