Samsung SyncMaster BX2350 review: Samsung SyncMaster BX2350

Samsung SyncMaster BX2350

The Samsung SyncMaster BX2350 has accurate color reproduction for a TN-based panel, includes many useful viewing-angle features, and continues the exceptionally stylish look established by Samsung's previous LED monitors.

Samsung SyncMaster BX2350 has very noticeable backlight clouding, low vibrancy in games, and its OSD array touch sensors work inconsistently.

The Samsung SyncMaster BX2350 is a great monitor, hampered by an overzealous backlight.

Samsung BX2350 LED Monitor

One of the big jumps we are likely to see in the upcoming 2011 is the increased transition from LCD displays over to the newer LED displays. With the number of new LED displays from manufacturers starting to outweight their number of LCD displays, it's...

For an average on-sale price of $250 CDN (standard price $280), the Samsung BX2350 makes for a very competitively priced LED monitor in it's segment. The 23" screen size is perfect for any modern day computer system and gives you plenty of screen space...

Monitor Review: Samsung SyncMaster BX2350

In continuing to look at the BX2350's features vis-a-vis the competition's, consumers might be as surprised by what the monitor doesn't offer as by what it does. While it does what it does well enough, Samsung appears to have taken a no-frills approach...

Samsung BX2350 review

Samsung's BX2350 will obviously appeal to the consumer market with its 2ms response time and dual HDMI inputs.

Slim and attractive design; impressive performance; good range of features

Some issues establishing optimum colours; touch-sensitive controls can be temperamental; no height adjustment

Samsung's BX2350 is a superbly stylish display with impressive performance and a wide range of ways to adjust settings for different environments. Though it's a little more expensive than some similar rivals, it will appeal to those who require solid...

Samsung SyncMaster BX2350

Fancy a large monitor? How about 23 inches? This is a Full HD 1920x1080 offering, what I found surprising as I moved my 20inch panel aside to review the Samsung SyncMaster BX2350 is that it weights around half that of my own smaller panel.

So good picture quality with plenty of brightness and contrast. Perhaps the backlight is a little much and lack of inbuilt speakers might be a problem for some. However as a backup PC monitor it works well and a lot of people would use an HDMI to HDMI...

Samsung - BX2350

Samsung's BX2350 is a stylish entry into the consumer-oriented LCD display market and is an LED-backlit, TN-based panel finished with an attractive Perspex bezel. The 23-inch model on test stands out from much of the competition ...

At around £230 the BX2350 is more expensive than some similar screens in this class, but there's an inevitable premium involved with such a stylish and slimline design. As an aesthetic complement to a home setup that involves a fair bit of multimedia...

Slim and attractive design, impressive performance and tuning features, very responsive

Some issues establishing optimum colour balance for gaming, Magicangle modes don't make much of a difference, touch sensitive controls can be temperamental

The 23-inch panel offers native resolution of 1920 x 1080 and with a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 2ms response time and general look and feel, operation seems fairly oriented towards gaming and video playback. VGA and twin-HDMI ports are present, but it...
