Viewsonic VP2770-LED review

Viewsonic's VP2770-LED is very much a high-end monitor. It's a 27in IPS screen with a huge 2,560x1,440 resolution, meaning it has 20% more screen area than a standard 1920x1080 display.

A large screen with an equally large space requirement for the stand

Big screen display with high resolution and plenty of detail, very good colour accuracy across a largely very colour-consistent display, plenty of interfaces and a USB 3.0 hub

Viewsonic VP2770

A large panel that is not limited to 1920x1080 resolution. In fact in can display up to 2560x1440 which is a good step up from 1920x1080, this of course can be used to show more detail or just to display more than a single window.

The screen surround is 62x37cm and the ‘y’ shaped stand lifts it a basic 8cm from your desk but there are other choices. The basic front to back of the stand is 32cm and side to side at the front of the ‘y’ is 52cm giving stability. The viewable screen...

! Month past 3 year warranty

I wanted "the best" I could buy at the time. I could have gotten something more reasonable at the time. My 5 years old Samsung is still going. Hmm....

It was a beautiful monitor while it worked. Just under 800 bucks 3 years, 1 month ago. I can see why it came down in price.

Perfect size/resolution combo

I finally replaced my aging CCFL IPS LCDs with a pair of these and I wish now I'd done that sooner. The picture excellent. The color is really breathtaking - try watching some 4k youtube videos.

DVI and Dlink Factory color cal. 10-bit if you want it. Quality is good. Perfect size/resolution combination. Price for this 10-bit PLS panel right now is unbeatable.

Now my wife will want one! One dark pixel across two monitors, but you have to squint to see it - it looks like a spec of dust.
