ViewSonic VX924

You don't get a lot of extras with the ViewSonic VX924, but it's a good choice if you're looking for a 19-inch LCD monitor for gaming or displaying full-motion video.

Fast pixel-response time. Dual inputs. Good picture quality.

Tilt-only stand. No USB ports.

ViewSonic VX924 Monitor

The $429 ViewSonic VX924 is the first 19-inch monitor to use ViewSonic's Amplified Impulse technology, which overdrives the LCD panel's electronics to improve transition speed between shades of gray. As the theory goes, fast gray-to-gray transitions...

Clean, crisp text

No height, pivot, or swivel adjustments

The VX924's design is a step up from ViewSonics' usual plain look. Its eye-catching silver matte stand contrasts with the black bezel. This theme continues with well-marked buttons; ViewSonic's numbers and arrows remain inscrutable, but at least you...

ViewSonic VX924

a fast pixel-response time, the ViewSonic VX924 is a great LCD for gaming and watching DVDs, but it's not for the color-conscious or anyone who values screen uniformity.

Attractive design; fast pixel-response rate; sleek cable-management system; clearly labeled OSM navigation.

Screen not uniform; height not adjustable; no ability to control screen settings with keyboard and mouse.

With a fast pixel-response rate, the ViewSonic VX924 is a great LCD for gaming and watching DVDs, but it's not for the color-conscious.

ViewSonic VX924 19-inch 4ms TFT LCD

ViewSonic VX924: The Near Future Of LCD Displays

We'd all been waiting for the ViewSonic VX924, with its announced record low latency of 4 ms. Based on the new Overdrive technology, it represents what the near future of LCD display technology will look like. Our tests of this monitor yielded a few...

The VX924 is a good monitor for gaming: it's fast, but not very accurate. With a latency specification of 4 ms, that's what you'd expect. Its static qualities are just as excellent, with a well-controlled level of brightness and very deep blacks. But...

Solid performance at a reasonable price. The image is a little too bright and oversaturated by default, but the monitor is easy to adjust.

Dual input, clean look, easy menu navigation

No audio, excessively bright image, colour saturation

ViewSonic VX910 - 19in TFT Monitor

ViewSonic has been producing some great monitors lately, with its VP range proving to be some of the best TFT screens available. But the VP range is the high-end proposition from ViewSonic, and the company knows that not everyone can afford to splash...

ViewSonic VX924 review

The closest thing to the pixel response of a CRT

The fastest pixel response on test ; Looks grand

Sadly pipped by the BenQ ; Viewing angle just average ; It's expensive for what it delivers ; Accuracy ; brightness

For the ViewSonic, it's a real shame we've also looked at the BenQ - for it's pipped to the post by that model in almost every way. Only just, mind
