Inaccurate Mouse

It's a combined Mouse/Keyboard Solution

IT is very difficult to position the mouse so you can click. The pointer jumps around and the ergonomics ot the buttons are not thought out well. Maybe as a joystick this is better, but I wanted a mouse with a keyboard. I is unusable as a mouse

joystick......

Why a joystick? i thought it may be a good idea at first but this has ruined what could have been a good idea for me. i will never buy a joystick mouse ever again.

Almost everything about this keyboard is great. Connects and stays connected. Good battery life so far. no missed keystrokes at all from about 10-15 feet. nice media shortcut keys

The joystick is simply awful. Ive been trying to get used to it ever since i got still cant, i am looking for a decent wireless media mouse now

Well Worth It

If you have an HTPC or media type PC, this'll definitely do the job for you..

All in one, no additional mouse floating around, got this for my living room PC I built for media & entertaining.. Nice handles make it easy to handle. All the shortcut buttons work fine with no additional drivers needing to be installed, just pair &...

Rattling sound in keyboard, which was easily fixed, pulled out the batteries, and moved it around to where it (little piece of plastic) fell out the battery compartment. Also the joystick takes some getting used to, but it's fine.. so no (real) cons

Does the job for my HTPC

Included hotkey software works as advertised. Receiver and keyboard paired up just as directions said they would. I'd hate to try and do hard-core touch typing on this, but it's fine for HTPC use. As I said above, joystick cursor speed can be adjusted....

Cost. Good range. I can walk all over my family room without losing reception, and the USB receiver is attached to the back of my HTPC near the floor. Joystick speed is adjustable under control panel mouse controls. Windows XP immediately recognized...

Not a con, but it's not made as well as the $100 and up crowd. I can hear a small piece of plastic rattling around inside my unit, but it functions just fine

Great for home theater use

Location of Fn key can take a little getting used to (you might press it when you want Ctrl), but is the same as my iBook so I'm already familiar with that. No lights on the keyboard for caps lock etc., but the driver shows an on-screen indicator which...

It's easy to hold the keyboard in both hands, and (with a little practice) use the joystick to control the mouse. Has all the buttons I expect, including left/right/middle mouse buttons and up/down scroll. Because it's USB (not Bluetooth), no issues...

Range is only about six feet. I had an issue where the joystick would get stuck and the mouse would drift to the left; this probably only started after the keyboard had been dropped a few times and it wasn't a serious problem. No number pad, although...

Great multimedia keyboard

This is the second BTC wireless keyboard I purchased. The first one isn't offered here anymore. It was a great keyboard to try out my multimedia machine, but the range was only 4-6 feet. I purchased this one to replace it and be able to use it from our...

Great Range ; Hasn't dropped a keystroke yet (I'm typing on it now) ; Easy install in XP

Large size (About 3/4 of a standard keyboard

Nice

At this price point and for what it does its a great buy. Hey Newegg! Perhaps checking to make sure the batteries included in the box don't expire in 2006 would be a plus (mine were like that and VERY dead haha)

Commands my media center very well! I haven't had the problems with connection that others have reported although I have a related con. Connected right away no installation disk required to get it running (although I reccomend it considering the media...

The joystick has a slight learning curve but it reminds me of any xbox or playstation game that requires you to use a joystick to move the cursor

Everything is ok, except..

I'm thinking of getting a different one with either trackball or touchpad, since this joystick thing is NOT WORKING for me.

works as advertised. keystroke registers fine

that stupid joystick takes A LOT of getting used to ; I've had mine since beginning of this year, and I still haven't gotten used to it

Works great

All my use come at around 2m, without line of site.

Does exactly what it claims ; Price is good to great for performance and quality ; Handles are handy, with making the KB to large ; BTC makes a handle free version. I would consider that one too. However the handles make it really easy to use the thumb...

Unless you have good coordination you will likely have to reduce mouse sensitivity. More of a fact of life then a flaw. I expect avid console gamers will have no problem adapting to the thumbstick sensitivity
