Cooler Master Havoc Mouse Review - FunkyKit

It seems like these days everyone goes with the mantra, bigger is better. More cores, bigger hard drives, more ram, etc. Cooler Master is taking that path as well with their latest mouse, the Havoc. This site uses Akismet to reduce spam. Learn how your...

Solid performance ; Tracks on glass ; Custom light colors ; Very high DPI

gloss coating on the side gets dirty easily ; Righty-only mouse ; Scrolling upward is hit and miss

For the Havoc mouse Coolermaster has gone with the higher DPI is better mentality. I really don’t agree with this tactic, but if that is what the people want you can’t really faulty CM for providing such products.

COOLER MASTER SGM-4002-KLLN1

It feels great - LED colors are nice and bright - nice size, its not too bi but it fills my hand (I have somewhere between large and average hands)

Nothing I can think of

Best Mouse I ever used

I don't think they appreciated what happened to my mouse. We told CM we'll pay for damages. They just went cold. That's O.K. I'll buy another somewhere else.

Fast, gorgeously responsive, ease of use and a super surprising melee button. I had a good time using this mouse. In fact, I looked forward everyday to using this like a bad habit. I can blah, blah, blah all day long. The best one I ever used

My little nephew got a hold of it. Bust it up banging it around like a whip so I made him send it back to CM. That was in early January. After I received RMA confirmation in the later part of January. They sent a notice in late Febuary saying their...

Was working well... until it stopped working a day short of a year

I'll give Cooler Master's support a shot and see how it goes.

Great when it works

Laser stopped working right before the one year mark of ownership. Not a very useful mouse if the tracking isn't functional... ;) I guess it can still serve as a night lamp

Wish CM cared about more than just Windows

I purchased this mouse (through another website), to replace my logitech G500 which was dying. I have cm storm 922 case and have enjoyed cm products for a while. But with this poor support, I will take my business to another company, CM has pretty much...

Good for larger hands, Comfortable. So far seems to be well built

If you want to use the three side buttons on the side, or use the profiles even if saved on the mouse, you are confined to windows. Mac and Linux users, we are stuck. I even contacted Customer Support to see why/if no drivers were made to support it...

Good Mouse

Customizable lighting, DPI, macros, profiles, and buttons ; Comfortable ; Good material - isn't slippery except for right side ; Thumb area has a ribbed type texture for grip

Right side can be slippery at times ; Could've fit another thumb button

Blown away...

(Not cons, just things to mention in case you're one of those buyers who skips straight to reviews without doing the research in its entirety) -NO adjustable weight system, but the weight it presents on its own is not bad, a bit on the lighter side,...

Fits near-perfectly to my hand and grip style ; Has a nice angle for my palm ; awesome rubbery-matte finish, doesn't tend to collect sweat and grime the way most glossy mice do, plus grips great ; Tracking is silky and still precise ; LED's are nice...

The glossy strip on the right overhang where (presumably?) most users right ring and pinky finger will sit or lay ; It could do without it entirely and the only purpose it seems to server is cosmetic ; Resistance on the side mouse buttons is way too...

Interesting.

Might be small for larger hands. 1 p4WN H3lL24 n00B2 w17 7H12 700L.

Great size for my hand. Weird combination of claw grip friendly and relaxed hold compatibility. Nice software. Configurable. Lots of buttons

Em. It is not free? It feels slightly cheap, although it is, so I suppose that makes sense
