Corsair Raptor M40 review

Is the latest gaming rodent from Corsair a clever girl?

Adjustable weights ; Smooth, low-friction movement ; Adjustable sensitivity

Only 4,400 DPI sensor ; Scroll a little stiff

Great Everyday Mouse

It's a mouse. Love the DPI selector. Only feature I would like to have would be a clickwheel release to make the scroller smooth instead of the notchy scroll wheel. But honestly, if that's the worst of my issues it's a $40 well spent.

Wide ; Comfortable in larger hands ; Adjustable weights ; Well-contoured

Doesn't make bacon

Works like a champ

I thought the mouse would last longer given the, at the time, positive reviews. Sadly it has kicked the bucket and I now have to buy a new mouse. I will be doing a little more research this time around.

Decent semi-programmable DPI and DPI on the fly buttons are nice. Adjustable weight is pretty cool, though not really needed. good size too for palm style users

Somewhat cheap material, and the mouse failed after a little over a year of use. The mouse began to shut off intermittently before finally failing completely. The cord seems to be the weak point here since I can wiggle it and the mouse will power on

Great mouse

I've had the same mouse and re-ordered a new one for my new working station I got ; Mouse actually feels SOLID. Wire is made of mesh-ish kind of material so it won't break. Material definitely is made of good quality ; Reponds very well

Smaller than most gaming mice, but it fits my hand so I can't complain. But my friend that has a big hand says it's too small

Annoying

Simple. Not a lot of buttons

About once a day the laser shuts off and I have to unplug the mouse and plug it back in. Don't know why, but I'll probably be switching soon

Great mouse, great price

Great mouse for the price.

The curve on the mouse molds to my hand well, there is also a braided cable. Not much else to say the red lights match my build quite nicely and will probably be using this for the long run

Great grip, easy to adjust to

The grip material on the mouse, high quality cable material, LED lights to look pretty and the adjustable weight. I bought this mouse just from first site on Newegg and read the reviews. I never seen it before and instead of just stressing uncertainty...

Corsair Raptor M40

All I have to say to this mouse is wow. Its smooth, perfectly fits my hand, at max dpi it glides like nothing. The gripped edges are great for when you play long periods of time. Absolutely love the mouse

Not really a CON but wish they had bigger and heavier weights for the mouse. Even with the 3 weights in, feels a little light
