TrackMan for the win

I hope Logitech comes out with a wired version with more buttons at some point. Saw a wireless one not that ago with extra buttons.

I only use Logitech TrackMan mice and have been for 10+ years. Every PC in the house has one. I even got my wife using one. So it was a no brainer trying out a wireless one for my HTPC and it works perfectly. I have owned it for a few months and have...

Fine Mouse

Just wanted to comment that this mouse works fine with Windows 7, the drivers are included with the OS. A poster below had mentioned no support.

Creative form factor ; Good solid feel

Looks are a tad gaudy

amazing

I hope logitech never stops making this model, it's perfect in every way.

Sturdy, dropped it numerous times. I've been using this exact trackball for YEARS. no wrist problems with it. SOOO ergonomic. reliable. use it from my bed that's 20 ft away

not for gaming

Not Windows 7 Compatible

I checked with Logitech and could not find an update/driver to make this work on my computer. Now I have to return it. The sales rep's suggestion was to call the manufacturer of the next mouse I buy to confirm it will work with Windows 7. Great, I will...

This mouse is almost exactly the kind I needed except for one flaw

The newegg description says it is Windows 7 compatible -- it is not. Newegg got it wrong. It says right on the side of the box which OSs are required

Not the best logitech product

I would easily purchase an update of this product- I have other Logitech products that are consistent, bulletproof and work great.

This trackball is basically the only game in town when it comes to wireless trackballs. The wired version is great - I have had one for more than 10 years now and it is still going strong. Also, Logitech has pretty good tech support, and this product...

This device only lasted about a year and I am calling for warranty work already. The range on this device has never been great either: only a little longer than the wired version if there is any other RF noise

5 eggs!

This was my first Newegg purchase but definitely not the last. Before placing my order I had some questions that Newegg's knowledgeable, courteous customer service representative was able to answer and delivery was prompt. Thanks Newegg!

I have used a wired Trackman Wheel for nearly 20 years and when it finally died, I was eager to replace it with a cordless model. I couldn't be happier with my new cordless Trackman! It's very responsive and performs exactly as the old corded one...

Good for desktop, not for netbook

I just ordered the wired version for my netbook. Much smaller package over all. Wish they would update the wireless version, it certainly needs better battery life and smaller receiver. No other decent choices out there...

Accurate, comfortable, easy to use. Greatly reduces stress on my hand/wrist/arm

Receiver is HUGE, with a long cord, almost as big as the mouse. Would be excellent for netbook or laptop if it had a tiny microreceiver like the newer Logitech mice

Best available

Only other quality trackball was the Microsoft one, which is no longer made. I can't use mice for very long without my wrist and arm hurting, so I hope Logitech continues this one. Own several wired and wireless versions of this trackball.

Ergonomic, comfortable to use. Wireless. Very accurate

Needs to be relatively close without obstruction to the transmitter. two - four feet ; Batteries need replacing every 4-6 weeks of heavy use --recommend high quality lithium rechargeable batteries ; There is no off button
