High bang for the buck

Solid device for a good price. Worried about the lack of a scroll wheel? Don't be. Go to http://simans.net/marble/ and download this simple yet great program that makes scrolling easy with only one button click, and the button still works at its normal...

Simple design and layout ; Large ball so not much movement required ; Funny to watch friends try to pick it up or drag it around like a normal mouse ; Symmetrical ; Can just keep your hand still, no need to move it all over the desk. Much more...

Can take time to adjust to. My fingers were uncomfortable for a while when I first got it but they've adjusted ; Software is hokey ; Does require some maintenance but it's a 5 second job to clean the little rollers inside

The best mouse that's not a mouse

This is the best trackball on the market for the casual user. My wife likes to be on her laptop in the living room and doesn't have space for a mouse (also doesn't like the touchpad) so I got her this and it fits on the arm of the chair and performs...

Good Versatile Mouse

I've had this for several years, from when I was still in college to now a full-time worker. It's good, its useful. Don't let the low price trick you. This mouse is very very useful. You won't be disappointed.

I've used it for documents, spreadsheets, gaming of all kinds, for everything, and I must say it is superb ; 1.SPACE EFFICIENT. It doesn't require a lot of space. If your messy, you don't need to push aside paper or books for the mouse to move. If your...

4 Year Owner

I have owned this mouse for over 4 years, and the right click is starting to get a bit touchy, but is definitely very long lasting. This is by far my favorite mouse, and I will continue to buy them.

Extremely comfortable, very long lasting (running on 4 years now)

Your dead skin builds up under the trackball after every few weeks, but a q-tip and/or toothpick will take care of that. Not really a con, but I figured I'd mention it

The only way to point.

I've been using these since approximately 2003. I refuse to touch any computer that doesn't have one on it. They were solid then and they're solid now. Ditch your mouse, this easy to use trackball is sturdy and reliable and you don't need a lot of...

Trackball Mouse - A+++++

I am not a "gamer" so I am not sure how it would work in that case.

Very comfortable to use. I was a bit skeptical to buy one but very glad I did. In fact I got another for work. It relieves the need for workspace for a standard mouse since the trackball is stationary. It also helps relieve any wrist or forearm tension...

Takes a little bit of time to get used to it. But don't let that concern you

Smooth mouse

the design is almost there, but there needs to be an easier way to scroll than holding a button down

I like the left/right mouse buttons being so big. The trackball is fantastic once you get used to the motion being different than a standard mouse. Works on a Mac with the Logitech bundle drivers

The scroll buttons don't work the same across programs. The scroll speed would be completely different in Firefox as it is in Safari. Changing the settings was easy, but the only option that seemed to work was holding one of the buttons down for it to...

not bad

google 'Marble Mouse Scroll Wheel' and install that instead. Now you can click-hold a small button and scroll-wheel with the ball. Simple click same button for 'back'/'forward'. Under 'mouse properties' i've enabled 'enhance pointer precision' and...

great for tiny computer desks

No scroll wheel emulation in the 'software' from logitech ; What you get/download is a joke! At least it uninstalls

3 months of use and its unuseable

The mouse worked fine but within about 3 months of use, the mouse moves on its own sporadically. It'll jump and skip and sometimes even makes it way over to the top left of my screen. The accelerator and setpoint adjustments are horrible as it doesn't...

Cures CTS

Not as smooth as everyone says it is ; Unusable after 3 months of use
