BEST Mouse I have ever owned

If the hardware buttons could be installed Via Driver Only and did not require software I would give it 6 eggs. Wish I would have got the RED version. I am really SAD that they discontinued this moues and have not come out with a respectable replacement.

This mouse replaces the need for a remote to control volume and pause play/ next track. Its super responsive, good battery life. I game with it and there is no noticeable lag. Buttons light up and dim out when media controls are used

1 Its Discontinued :( The software that operates this mouse.. Is not the greatest, but with recent updates its much better than the CD that came with the mouse. You can customize it to operate your own choice of player (winamp) however I still dont use...

Awesome....

I got the same thing, blue sides and silver top though, at a sale at office depot. I was wondering if I really needed it, but considering the price I decided to get it. Wish they had this red one though, I like it better.

Very fast response time, great for gaming with the speed and such, assuming you have a surface to put it on (ive got glass). Media buttons are a nice touch, but don't use the media software that comes with it. Use your normal media player

Hardly any, just me being picky. Scroll is sharp not as smoothly rolling as others. Takes a bit to get used to the way it handles, but once you get used to it its great. Doesn't work on my glass desk :,( but thats true of all opricals, not the devices...

Great mouse!!!

great mouse specially the fact that you can control most media players without the need to look at the screen.

I've used this mouse for all my needs including gaming and in 2 years I've never had a problem with it. Battery last about 6+ months even if you sometimes forget to turn it off for a days

volume and ff/rewind buttons can sometimes seem to get stuck (if leave pressed the button to put the volume up and then let go, sometimes the volume keeps going up on its own), but then again it might just be mine

Great for DivX \ Media oriented user

They need to make an updated version of this mouse

I've been using the mouse for over 2 years, some benefits include the fact that the optical sensor shuts down when its not in direct contact with a solid object (like in your hand used as a remote). Using setpoint + uberoptions (google it) I programmed...

It could possibly be me but if winamp is open some of the preprogrammed buttons I have for MV2 do not function, like 30sec skip, quickhide, e.t.c. But considering Im watching something I can just close out winamp

Durable and long ranged.

My first review for the first product that I feel strongly about. I love this mouse. Mousey mouse mouse. They are crazy when they say you can use it as a remote control... It's pretty much just a mouse. Yep.

I love this mouse... I can control my music from anywhere in the house (Who cares about looking at the monitor!) And it's incredibly durable. I even stepped on the receiver (Don't ask how..) and now it's just a circuit board with a USB plug, and still...

Sometimes when you press Play/Pause in WinAmp it kind of just starts the song all over again. Also, if you have it configured to WinAmp and you load Windows Media Player, all of a sudden the buttons start controlling WMP instead

The Good Mouse

I've had this mouse, actually the previous design in blue and grey, for over 2 years now. Have only had to change the batteries twice, even after leaving it on for days at a time! I was looking for a 5 button, wireless, optical mouse with a compact...

Great battery life. Solid feel. Buttons feel good and are in good locations. Range is above average

The casing came apart on the receiver. Super glue, as good as new

Great concept, good in Linux, wish it was Bluetooth.

Media buttons are great. There is an excellent Linux driver that allows you to do just about anything you want with the kazillion buttons on this mouse. Also a nice mouse for everyday computing. Looks really cool. I like the size and shape

Longer range would really improve it. My Bluetooth mouse has super-long range -- this mouse would be a Five-Egger with Bluetooth ; Doesn't track on all surfaces

Needs lots of work

Great for XP Media Center users, especially those that watch TV and compute at the same time. Beware of the short lifespan of the mouse. Now I'm used to it and cant find anything comparible. I miss the pause button in the middle of the mouse.

Right out of the box it seems like a great products. It has 2 ways to connect to your pc, and lots of useful buttons. The weight and smotthness seem ok, and the shape is not bad in your hand. The pause and fast forward buttons are awesome, and I have...

This mouse died after about 6 months of use and only 2 battery changes. No clue as to why, the program still a mouse, even after several reinstalls. The software was a bit annoying to install, especially since it added yet ANOTHER media program that I...

Nice idea but as a mouse it needs work.

It's a nice idea, control your multimedia from the couch and it CAN do that, to a limited extent. Problem is it's supposed to be a mouse too and fails (worst Logitech mouse I've bought in years and I own most of them, really like most Logitech mice)....

Very long runtime from 2 x AA Batteries, can even run from only ONE AA (has internal voltage boost circuit). Plenty of buttons tied to the driver. Almost ambidexterous shape (except side buttons). Small but good range USB receiver, and it can connect...

VERY heavy mouse (relative to mice, not relative to a dump truck), sluggish response. VERY, EXTREMELY, picky about mousing surface. No recharge cradle. Slick non-textured(so sticky/sweaty on long gaming sessions) plastic side surfaces. Wheel increments...

Great Mouse

I like how fast this mouse reacts to how move it...the most reactive mouse that i have ever had. Also i like how the buttons light up when you press them...so far this has been the best mouse that i have evr had

The program that it comes with is completly useless for me. unless you dont have any sort of media player its going to be useless to anyone else also...but otherwise great mouse
