Mionix Castor gaming mouse review

The Castor will satisfy fans of shooters, but may leave MOBA and MMO fans out in the cold.

The well-equipped Mionix Castor certainly brings the features and configuration options, but is ultimately a victim of its own bravado. When a brand’s tagline is “It’s all about the craftsmanship,” and the price is set at an above-average $70, it sets...

Mionix Castor review: Another comfortable mouse from the cult favorite

Mionix has made a name for itself turning out extremely comfortable mouses, and the Castor is no different.

Trademark Mionix ergonomics ; Much smaller than last year's NAOS 7000

Doesn't go on sale often ; Doesn't excel in any one area

Mionix's latest mouse melds its eye for ergonomics with the broad-appeal accessibility of the Razer DeathAdder.

Mionix Castor gaming mouse review

Today we take a look at the Mionix Castor gaming mouse to help you determine if it's something you should add to your gaming rig in order to rack up those achievements, or if you should keep looking.

Mionix has put together a solid product in the Castor. While I feel that their constant mentioning of quality craftsmanship is a little over the top, it's clear that it's more than just a marketing slogan. The Castor feels like a premium input device.

Mionix Castor Review — Great Design, Subpar Software

From a design perspective, the Castor is Mionix's best mouse yet. The lighting is beautiful, the ergonomics are comfortable and the button layout makes a lot of sense. Its in-game performance is beyond reproach.

Excellent design ; Good in-game performance ; Large DPI range

Expensive ; Has fewer features than competitors' mice

The Mionix Castor is a supremely comfortable gaming mouse, but it lacks the features of similarly priced competitors.

Mionix Castor Review (Mouse)

When we last looked at a couple of products from Mionix we found them to be impressive peripherals. The Naos for example was a good quality gaming mouse. Recently they refreshed their product range with a new mouse and today we test it in our Mionix...

As we mentioned earlier in the review the first impressions of the Castor are good thanks to some cool packaging. once we crack it open the mouse is nicely presented and the bundled items off in a separate compartment. There is nothing out of the...

One Minute Review: Mionix Castor

The Mionix Castor is a triumph of design. Rather than opting for all the bells and whistles common to many modern mice, Mionix instead focussed on comfort and accuracy with the Castor, making it one of the most comfortable mice we've seen in a long...

Mionix Castor Optical 10000dpi Gaming Mouse

A very comfortable mouse. The mouse is lightweight so even after 8+ hours of daily use my hand doesn't feel tired.

Some of the light effects such as blinking aren't as smooth as I would expect especially when considering the price of this mouse.
