Razer Mamba TE Review: 2015’s gaming master mouse

The Razer Mamba TE is a Tournament Edition mouse made to compete with the highest-grade gaming mice in the world. This device continues the Razer tradition of making high-end super-sensitive mice by bringing a 16,000 DPI 5G laser sensor with 1,000 Hz...

As games have become more sophisticated and graphical resolution has increased dramatically, so too has the need for ever more sensitive gaming gear. For

Razer Mamba 2015 Review

It costs more in pounds than it weighs in grams, but it has plenty to show for it.

As a rule of thumb, we hate (nay, despise) giving credit to marketing teams, but 'the world's most advanced gaming mouse' is honestly not a bad way of describing the Mamba. With its 16,000 DPI sensor, full button customisation, deep RGB lighting...

Razer Mamba 2015 Tournament Edition Review

Razer is releasing a wired version of its Mamba mouse, and it comes with a 16,000 DPI sensor...

On the one hand, the Mamba Tournament Edition is one of the most expensive mice on the market, which instantly makes it hard to recommend. On the other, it's absolutely brimming with features, well built and a joy to use. Compared to the DeathAdder...

Plagued by problems

I have two razer keyboards and another razer Naga, These I love but my experience with this mouse is so bad that I will never buy another Razer product again. Their support is so bad that I'd get more information out of a lobotomized monkey.

It looks cool and the concept is cool.

Execution by Razer sucks. The mouse I bought was barely functioning and limping along for years. The wireless function wasn't great and had problems from a 1ft distance. The battery deformed and expanding to make it nearly impossible to get out of the...

Great Mouse for anything

This mouse is very stylish and has a lot of customization. With Razer Synapse you can customize it for any game type or preference that you have. The best thing is you can program each button for any action, and for editors like myself, that is a huge...

Razer Synapse constantly updating and sometimes lags. But that is not the mouses fault its razer software.

Awesomesauce!!!

I have had a lot of mouses and this is the best mouse I have ever owned. If you buy it I really dont think you will regret it.

My very first gaming mouse to own and I must say I am very well pleased with it. It fits my big hand perfectly, it doesn't slip around thanks to the rubber sides. The mouse wheel is very gripping to your finger so no slipping there either. Being...

The only con I have found with this is the synapse software download. Hence the loss of an egg. I downloaded the program and it said to restart my system so I did and it would not boot back up and said bad and corrupted files. I dont honestly know if...

Greatly improved

Wireless as well as Wired! Much improved over previous version. I owned the 2012 model and hated it. The stand was hard to seat properly on to charge and the battery would not hold a charge. Also, the surface material pealed. All this seems to be fixed...

Random pauses. Still working with different combinations of polling rate and DPI but while moving the mouse it seems to randomly lose connection and reconnect within 2 seconds. This can be inconvenient especially considering this is a high performance...

After 1 week the RGB LED lights are malfunctioning.

I've tried everything. Different computer, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, delete Razer Synapse profile. I am currently working with Razer support to no avail :(

Feels great to use. RGB lighting.

Malfunctioning LED RGB lights.

Cool Mouse but weird issue

Wish I had known Logitech had a nice mouse available in the Proteus Core, I would've bought that instead as Logitech has never failed me.

Very cool mouse, its comfortable and has many sensitivity settings. I think the weight is just fine

Have a weird issue where cursor will sometimes move ever so slightly on its own, not a problem while navigating the OS but in a game like Starcraft it has cause me to make mistakes when selecting units. For a mouse this expensive I really expected it...
