Razer DeathAdder

I bought this mouse on 7/21/2008 and it served me well until a week ago (7/18/2014) when it finally developed the double-click problem. I was so pleased with the value I got from this mouse that I decided to go with the most recent iteration of the...

Great top grip, perfect fit for my hand. Long cable. Looks sharp. Survived thousands of hours of gaming and office work over its 6 year life

No side grips. Somewhat clunky software that required a bit of tinkering on a couple of my computers

Great Mouse

I can't find a place that sells Razer teflon feet for my copperhead. I got a Razer Mamba to replace this and its really taking a lot to get used to.

I've been using the blue version of this mouse around 5 years now. I have the "First Edition" version. Its working flawlessly for all this time now and would continue to I'm sure. The only reason I got a new one was because one of the teflon feet came...

One set of side mouse buttons are useless depending on which hand you use. The type of smooth plastic used builds up hand gunk fairly quickly near the pinky and thumb

Razer Copperhead

Not worth it. Do not buy. I have a Razer Lycosa keyboard now and I'm hoping it'll last longer than the mouse did.

Great looking, great feeling mouse. Worked very well for a good while. Very useful thumb buttons and nifty DPI adjustment buttons

Rubbery coating began to peel off after a few months, and after about a year of moderate use, the mouse began double, or even triple, clicking on its own. Also, the cursor would occasionally dart around the screen for no reason when moving it normally

Great mouse

This used to come in blue!! What happened to it?! Blue rocks. I de-str-oy mice. I don't know how or why, but I do. I've gone through at least 6, if not more. This has lasted longer than any other I've had. I think I am going on 3 years of ownership....

Good feel for slightly larger hands. Nice button action. Scroll click is slight enough to not be intrusive, but easily felt. Good button placement. Great for extended use. LONG cable -- very nice. Very wide range of sensitivity. Works well with Linux...

Very wide range of sensitivity can lead to interesting behavior between different systems. I a managed to map the right-side buttons to adjust the sensitivity to help with that -- which means I don't have to use the underside button. As a NIT PICK, the...

Garbage

Don't buy this garbage, get something more reliable. I'm done with Razer products.

Pretty blue LED? Works well, when it works

First one had to be replaced, RMA'd it received a replacement for free due to broken scroll wheel. The replacement was really jittery and got progressively worse, up until now where I can only move the mouse from the bottom left corner of my screen to...

Worth it

Despite the problems I had, would I buy it again? Hell yes. We as gamers cannot expect our hardware to stand up to constant and brutal usage for years and not take damage. That mouse won me many a battle through many different games. It was loyal and...

The mouse is just about everything it advertises. It's a good size for the hand, its quick, moves smoothly with the slip pads on the bottom. Super responsive on screen. Laser precision is just that

Cons... The firmware right out of the box when I bought it.. which was going on 4 maybe 5 years ago.. didn't work so hot. When moving diagonally, it couldn't go in a straight line, it moved the cursor like it was going down stairs.. or hitting bumps....

FPS Gamers! ::Be Warned::

I recommend getting a Diamondback 3D or the Imperator. The Copperhead would other wise be great if it lasted more then a few months before breaking. Maybe thats why the discontinued them.

Looks and feels great. The pulsing Razer logo atop the mouse is a very nice and unique touch

Annoying Double Click issues! This mouse is not for FPS game fans (CS:S, TF:2, COD:MW etc..) The sensors on the mouse wear out after standard gaming use and cause the buttons to double click, which becomes really annoying when trying to do anything...

Excellent mouse

Would like to see Newegg stock the plasma blue or green version as well. As always, Neweg delivered swiftly and without err.

Great mouse for the money at under 40.00$. High DPI, drivers installed wonderfully

Mouse wheel is starting to squeak, and the buttons for the pinky are rather hard to reach and dont serve any true purpose for gaming

Too high tracking distance

Buy this if you are a high sensitivity gamer that never has the mouse touching the edge of the pad. IF YOU PICK UP THE MOUSE AND DRAG IT A LOT, STAY AWAY FROM THIS MOUSE!!! This is a good mouse otherwise, but do not buy this if you play low sens. This...

Pretty glass cover, glowing wheel, inside LED's, etc ; Drivers good and customisable ; Teflon slid nicely

This thing's tracking distance is atrocious. The Deathadder mouse stops tracking after <2mm, but this thing keeps tracking almost two inches off of the pad ; I cannot play low sens like this

Average

This would be a nice mouse for half the current price. With the flaws listed and especially because it's "gaming" mouse, it's not a keeper.

Decent size although a little small. Feels good. Scroll wheel very solid feeling. No tilt feature a huge plus. Nice positive lock on wheel for precision scrolling through pages/weapon selection in games, etc. Smooth sliding across many types of...

Both side buttons are on left side. I prefer buttons on both sides. Short cord potentially a huge problem if you have your PC under your desk. I couldn't use my normal cable routing because of the very short cord. Poor software which is apparently...
