Roccat Savu

The Roccat Savu gaming mouse looks basic but offers an array of options that gamers will love, from programmable functions to click-by-click tracking.

4000 DPI tracking. Easy grip design. Software tracking for every click and move.

EasyShift[+] button isn't so easy to use in game.

Roccat Savu Review — Mid-Size, Mid-Quality

The Savu is a good mouse, but it's not a great one, and that's not quite enough of an argument for dropping $60 on it. The Hyperion Fury, for example, is optimized for first-person shooters, but sports a similar layout, better buttons, a broader DPI...

Reasonable price ; Comfortable button layout ; Intuitive software

Inconsistent game-linking functionality ; Low DPI cap ; Not ideal for any genre

If you're in the market for a comfortable gaming mouse that's not too expensive, the Roccat Savu is worth a look.

ROCCAT Savu Mid-Size Hybrid Gaming Mouse Review

I can admit that when it comes to PC gaming, I used to think that any old regular mouse would do. I used to PC game a lot back in my high school and college days, which was back when the only real multiplayer games out there were Unreal Tournament and...

ROCCAT Savu Gaming Mouse

Packed with innovative features but has a few rough spots compared to premium gaming mice.

Sleek styling, Plenty of features, Sensitive 4000 dpi optical sensor, Lighting effects, Excellent software, Textured side grips

Odd thumb button placement, Price a bit high, Textured side grips

ROCCAT Savu Gaming Mouse Review

Final Thoughts You know upon first look at this mouse I honestly was not that impressed.  I mean a simple design and 4 buttons plus scroll wheel, that really does not scream awesome to me.  After using this mouse for a little while I am thoroughly...

– Very comfortable, – Awesome software, – EasyShift[+] functionality, – Up to 5 different profiles, – Easy to program macros, – Light strip can be customized

– Finger marks happen pretty much right away

Roccat Savu Mouse Review

We tested this new mouse with a 4,000 dpi optical sensor and the same Easy-Shift[+] technology from the Kone[+] model, also from Roccat. See how it fared on our analysis.

Rubber coating and rugged plastic surface provide a firm grip ; Easy-Shift[+] technology increases the number of programmable function ; Easy-Aim feature allows for a quick drop in resolution for precision shooting ; Nice color effects ; Pre-recorded...

Fixed resolution stages ; No button below the wheel to change the resolution ; No horizontal scrolling on the scroll wheel ; Doesn’t have a weight adjustment system ; The beautiful light effect is hidden under the user’s palm

This is a nice mouse that has worked great for me for several days now while we have been testing it both during gaming sessions and while doing normal work on the internet.

ROCCAT Savu Gaming Mouse

Back in January at CES 2012 we were asked to stop by and check out ROCCAT on the show floor. While ROCCAT isn't a new company, my knowledge of their products was quite limited which made for a pleasant surprise when we were shown the new ROCCAT...

High Performance ; Nice Feel and Finish ; Extremely Customizable ; Very Comfortable ; Lightweight, but still very Sturdy
