Consumer review (newegg.com)

Overall - it's a great mouse!

After installing the mouse software, it adds a "laser mouse" tab to the mouse properties (it did not add it in XP 64-bit and button configuration program wouldn't run). In regular XP click "Compatible with Microsoft" to make the scroll wheel work in...

Works great on the right surface: precision, gliding, couple extra buttons. Feels comfortable ; I'm going to buy more ; Other notes ; It slides very smoothly across the desk ; Scroll button is notched ; Pointer speed is at the 3rd level, down a couple...

Just a couple little things ; Top little button apparently can't be configured and it opens IE to your homepage ; Extra programmable button on the right side is a good thing, but is very awkward to use ; I must pick it up above ¾ inch off desk for the...

I liked it while it worked

I RMA'd it and I'm awaiting a replacement. Newegg service was great as always.

Good feel, good price, 1200dpi, plenty of buttons. Looks pretty good too

It died after 30 minutes of use. The laser borked out totally. The buttons still clicked, but no motion whatsoever. Real bummer- it died just when I was really starting to like it

Works great

If I paid tons of money for it I would be upset, but for $x it works better than my old dell optical mouse!

Very responsive, and I love the multiple buttons

Not all the buttons are programmable and sometimes some buttons won't work with specific keystrokes

Pretty good overall

It handles very smoothly and quietly. though the feel of a slim keyboard is going to take a bit of getting used to. Highly recommended, especially for the price

The LEDs started going out after just two hours

Rosewill RM1670 Silver/Black 7 Buttons USB Laser Mouse

If you're having problems scrolling in Firefox etc, open the mouse config. On the 'Laser Mouse' tab there is a checkbox that says Compatible with Microsoft. Make sure its on and it should scroll fine.

7 configurable Buttons

The laser is really sensitive. Sometimes when you pick up the mouse and move it, the cursor will still move if you're less than an inch off the surface

You get what you pay for"

The first mouse I received didn't work (at all). I had to ship it back to Newegg (+$5 shipping) for an exchange. I'm hoping this was just my bad luck. The second mouse worked beautifully. Also, the default driver settings are a bit corny. I have...

Cheaper than most optical mice ; On a good surface, more accurate than optical mice ; 7 Buttons (Yes, 7, not 6) ; Nice feel

Bottom of the mouse isn't completely flat ; 7th Button is unprogrammable, it opens your IE homepage regardless of your default browser ; Works only on very flat surfaces, mouse pads not included ; Shipping costs almost as much as the mouse

Very unhappy

None

You cant move the mouse with pin point precision, one reason I got a new mouse was for the scroll and I cant get it to work. All the other buttons work great but scroll dont work. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT

Okay Mouse

Save your money, and get something better/newer.

The DPI is pretty high. Although the Diamondback mice are higher DPI. It looks nice, and also has a lot of buttons

It doesn't have the feature that the newer mice have where it shuts off when you lift it. That not only helps it from jumping when you lift the mouse, but it also helps to save power

Works great for me

Its as cheap as a regular laser mouse but you get the added functionality of the buttons.

I have had this mouse for almost a year and am about to order another one for my new computer. It fits in my hand better than any other mouse I have ever had. You can set up different commands for five different buttons plus the two normal buttons

There is a limited list of programs that can be opened with the buttons. This can not be modified so if you want to open a program thats not on the list, you have to configure the keyboard to run your program from one of the "F" keys i.e. F10....
