Saitek Cyborg Command Unit Keypad Controller

There are many peripherals out there to serve the pro gaming market. Some are gimmicky, and some are useful, but they all have one purpose; to be bought and used ...

Included with the Cyborg Command Unit is a small package of paper work, and a CD. The paperwork includes a brochure for other Saitek products, and a multilingual manual. The CD is the really interesting part, as it includes the drivers and...

Saitek Pro Gamer Command Unit

The Saitek Pro Gamer Command Unit is a very unique device and may look like something out of a Sci-Fi movie, but it actually gives you control over games without the use of a traditional keyboard. It puts all functions within reach of your left hand....

Great price/performance, Very good build quality, Intuitive setup, no learning curve, Thumb pad can be adjusted to fit your needs, Solid grip on surface, Three different, appropriate modes, Backlight looks great for LAN parties

Securing the thumb pad requires screwing on the silver knob very tight., For left handed WASD users only, No bag to place in for LAN parties., Manual not the easiest read

The Saitek Pro Gamer Command Unit looks like something out of a Sci-Fi movie. The different modes with distinctive colors add to that. Saitek has created a great gaming device, which does not go for looks or symmetry like other such devices, but places...

Saitek Pro Gamer Command Unit

The Saitek Pro Gamer Command Unit. Big name; small peripheral. The name barely fits on this small device, which sounds like it should be far more intricate than it actually is. When I heard the lengthy name I expected something that would rival the...

Neat niche item appeal ; Looks great ; Handy for space restricted areas ; Good for LAN parties

Superfluous item ; Not built as well as other Saitek gear ; Doesn't enhance gameplay ; Friends will mock you

One feature that would go under the “Useless” column is how the Pro Gamer shamelessly broadcasts the company name out of its ass end in case you forget who built it. This is like Batman having self-confidence issues and turning on the bat light to...

Saitek Pro Gamer Command Unit

Do you really need a replacement for your keyboard when playing games? Saitek thinks so.

The palm rest has a blue LED in the top of it and a blue plastic stripe running down it which the LED lights up. This is also were the shift key is located and you press it with the palm of your hand. What I’d really liked to have seen here is an...

Saitek Pro Gamer command unit

Saitek where founded in 1979 and started making chess computers all the way up to 1993 that's when they entered the PC gaming market producing control pads and the like. Since then they have grown and become a major brand in the computer peripherals...

So what do I think of the Saitek PRO Gamer Command Unit, well I don't think I will be using it online as it become frustrating. But after using it with a few RTS and RPG games I have been converted, it just makes everything so much easier, because the...

cool

this was a great buy I hate the controller stick went dead in the down position I LOVED using this device. I upgraded to a different one with the extended warranty I bought with it. No hassle and full refund was really nice.

Good control, easy setup, xpadder worked great with it. Well placed buttons

They no longer carry it

Great for the price

I couldn't beat it for the price. I'm sure that other gamepads (in the >$60 range) would work smoother and program easier, but for $20 it meets my needs and expectations. If you are a hardcore gamer- get hardcore equipment. I didn't need it and am...

Price. Laptop keyboard is too cramped. Wasn't willing to shell out $60+. Keys are programmable as single keys, combinations, or macros-(haven't tried that yet). Good way to get the keys I need without the ones I don't and stopped my hand from cramping....

Discrepancy between colors on pad and in software as noted, not an issue since I knew in advance. Ministick is not easily programmable (tried to remap as WASD, got no response). Pad has 21 keys, software has 16 + ministick. Not for hardcore enthusiasts

Saitek PZ31A Pro Gamer Command Pad

Works as intended

I programmed the ministick for movement with the x-axis having the "A" key at 0-40%, and the "D" key at 60-100%. The y-axis, "W" key at 0-40% and the "S" key at 60-100%. I have a blank band on both axis from 40-60%, otherwise the character will keep...

Perfect for getting as many functions as possible under your fingertips. I play Warhammer Online with it, and it easily lets me do everything more efficiently now. Up to this point I had been using the mouse to hit my attacks, target, and change pov....

Colors didn't match up between the profile editor and the gamepad. The switch on the gamepad has a green, yellow and red setting, while the editor shows it blue, green, red. To make it confusing, the green switch uses the blue profile, the yellow...
