Works out of the box on Vista. Simply plug in and a few seconds later it is fully functional, including all shortcut buttons. No software needed to be installed. Couldn't be simpler. Lightweight and easy to use

I wish there were buttons underneath to make it "ergonomic." Having buttons only on the top makes it difficult to use only one hand. Maybe if the trackball were recessed down a bit, then the buttons on top would work. But I am getting rather picky here

Functions perfectly well as a 3-button trackball mouse, great for presentations (the laser pointer is a thoughtful addition), haven't used it for a music controller.

The reciever is a little on the large side, but they provide a short USB extension cable to get around any tight pluging issues.

Very nice, easy to use, true "Plug and Play"...no drivers to install, feels very comfortable in your hand, good battery life
