Buy something better.

Don't buy this mouse. Spend the extra $15-$20, and get something better, like a Logitech mx518.

It costs $20. At the Micro Center where I bought mine, it was the cheapest wired mouse for sale

About 6 months after I purchased it, the middle mouse button stopped working when you pushed directly down on it. To use it, you'd have to push it from the very front or the very back of the wheel. Recently, the wheel broke in a new way. I'd be rolling...

Poor build quality

Good features. Good ergonomics

Poor build quality. The side buttons don't have much resistance. Feels like there's a lot of extra space underneath until you get to the actual button. More importantly, the middle button broke within a year, stopped registering clicks. And there's no...

Verbatim 96676 1 x Wheel USB Wired Laser 1600 dpi Desktop Mouse

If you need a low cost mouse for a system its an ok choice. if you are looking for a gaming mouse replacement, you'll probably be let down. its not a bad mouse, its just not ideal for gaming!

Great price, fairly comfortable. DPI is easy to adjust

Cord was about 1 foot too short for my needs. Short cords always seem to be the case except on top dollar "gaming" mice ; The lifting of the mouse to recenter if you scrolled to far is slightly annoying, but id imagine i got what i paid for

Eh, not buying this again

My old mouse on my main computer is a Logitech MX518 (from Newegg). The pointer moves 100x smoother and I don't have to lift the mouse off the pad very high at all if I need to readjust my hand/pointer. If you buy a cheap mouse, a cheap mouse if what...

I bought this at a chainstore instead of Newegg this time for my 2nd computer. It was the cheapest laser, 5 button mouse they had. No other model had the same features for the price

On the other hand, the side buttons are way too close together as if they form 1 long button. It's hard to tell which one I'm clicking. The laser is too sensitive as well. It twitches around like crazy and it either moves too fast or too slow ; Another...

Good inexpensive laser mouse

All told, this is a very good mouse for the price. I've owned my share of terrible cheap mice (gotta love those computer show & sales!) but this certainly isn't one of them. I always used to like the quality of Verbatim's floppies back in the '90s, so...

Very inexpensive, laser technology, adjustable DPI settings, comfortable, has convenient extra buttons and a tilt wheel

Pointer jumps at higher DPI settings if you pick up the mouse for any reason, software doesn't allow you to assign Vista Flip 3D to any of the mouse buttons

Excellent

This mouse is very precise, and Verbatim does not aim it for gamers, however I can really say right now, I am a gamer and I think this mouse is great. It is a basic USB mouse without any software, or any other gadgets that more expensive gaming mice...

-One of the Cheapest laser mice you can buy (around $25 online) - Verbatim is a good company when it comes to computer peripherals - Very precise laser mouse great for gaming

- No weight adjustable or any software like the more expensive gaming mice get, however it gets the job done.
