Wacom Bamboo Pen & Touch review

We've spent some time on Wacom's first-ever hybrid tablet -- the Bamboo Pen & Touch which, surprise, surprise, features independent stylus and multitouch finger inputs. Multitouch-equipped computer users may not be as stoked, but let's not forget those...

Bamboo Touch Works Great

I bought the Bamboo Touch to replicate the touch pad on my laptop. along with a wireless keyboard and a 24" monitor, I was able to create a "super" dock for my HP. It works great, once you take the time to customize the setting for your touch, you...

Good, even for a Linux user

I wanted an alternative to the mouse for ergonomics and flexibility of interface, but I don't use Windows or a Mac. Linux support for the Bamboo is a bit green compared to how well it works in Windows, but the multi-touch interface is going to have a...

Love it!

This is as close to an Apple MagicPad as any PC-compatible product is going to get. I love the natural feel - and I don't have any wrist/hand fatigue at the end of the day.

Good option for my wrist

I got this to see if it helped with pain in my wrist from using a traditional mouse. The tablet seems to reduce the sideways motion of my wrist. It is very thin so it can slip into a pocket in my laptop bag. The buttons seem a little cheaply made...

Grateful for Staples return privilege

The touchpad on my laptop is not functioning. I bought the Wacom as a supplement and downloaded the latest drivers for Vista 32 bit. The pad functioned as advertised and I was impressed at first, but it later developed "tics" - pointer would jump to...

Mouse is better and smoother, to slow.

There is a reason people are buying wireless Mice. The Idea is neat, but in the end I always ended up having to use my Mouse for most common functions.

Disappointing, less useful than expected

I purchased 2 of these thinking it would be helpful for my young kids to improve their computer drawing. First, I admit I did not research enough and didn't realize it did not work with a pen. But despite that, this tablet has very limited usefulness....

Wacom and Photoshop are perfect together

I had to trade in my touch pad for a more expensive model. One that uses touch and a pen. The cursor was a little hard to control with the touch pad but the pen is great.
