Wacom Intuos3 A4 Pen Tablet Review

The Wacom Intuos3 A4 provides a 1:1 mapping ratio for most monitors. It is best suited to applications that require full arm motion

Wacom are the industry leaders in the pen tablet field and with good reason - their products are well designed, well made and customisable in virtually every way imaginable, and the Wacom Intuos3 is no exception to that rule. Neat touches like the...

Wacom Intuos3 A4

The Intuos takes the next step up from the Graphire range, and adds sometimes subtle improvements to an already excellent format. The included mouse is wireless but not battery powered, taking full advantage of the technology behind the tablet

Great performance

Takes up a lot of space, Can feel large and awkward

A hard-to-beat performer, albeit one for the professionals

The best

What a wonderful product this is. The touch pad surface is very responsive and accurate. I cannot say enough about the quality of this devise. I know I will enjoy many years of use from it. It is a little big but I knew that before purchasing it. It...

Easy of installation ; Easy of use ; Unmatched quality

It works with open source software. I'm already happy.

[Cons continued] Included regular replacement nibs are great, but I'm surprised there is only one stroke (spring-loaded) and felt (pencil-like) type. There is no storage space on any Intuos3 tablets for the pen, mice, or the penholder, compared to the...

Being a user of The Gimp and Inkscape, I can safely say that for the one month I've owned the Intuos3 9x12, it is the best addition to my arsenal of hardware for the open-source-software artist. No paid software upgrades is always a good thing! Even...

Not exactly a con, but if you are deciding between the Intuos3 6x8, 6x11, and 9x12, do ask yourself about what you plan to work on. Bigger tablets offer more overall precision for one monitor size, but conversely will also require more arm movement for...

Awesome Tablet!

If you still use the mouse to draw and paint digitally, I recommend you invest in one of these babies. Maybe a smaller size if you're on a budget. This is the best tablet unless you can get your hands on a Cintiq. There's also an Academic (PTZ930AC)...

Awesome sensitivity ; Professional quality ; Sturdy and durable ; Definitely a essential tool and worthwhile investment if you do digital artworks

I find the mouse that comes with it sucks. 9/10 people who purchase the tablet will probably never use or even touch the mouse. I wish they just take out the mouse, which costs about $70, and make the package a little cheaper. I rather have extra pen nibs

Pretty Good.

Great tablet. Pressure sensitivity is fantastic. Wacom definately provides the best product in this field. The active area is huge. It works as advertised

It's a bit large, but that is to be exptected. I would say that it's around 19-20 inches. Most tablets I have used in the past work similar to a mouse where when you get close to the edge you simply lift the mouse and reposition it and it continues...

WACOM Intuos3 PTZ930 9" x 12" Active Area USB Tablet

Had I known how big this thing actually was (almost 15" squared) I probably would've picked up the 6x8" since this one IS nice, but sometimes it's just too much arm movement to move the cursor around.

Very large working area, quality construction, lots of secondary buttons and sliders

It is a tad big if your confined in working space. Also, sometimes the sliders can lag a little bit, but unless you plan on gaming with it, I don't see a problem

High Quality

I love the features of the Intuos 3. I use it for animation purposes, & am now thinking of getting another only smaller.

Interacts beatifuly with Photoshop. I love all the tools it puts at your finger tips

This model is a littleHigh QualityHigh QualityHigh QualityHigh QualityHigh Quality to big for my taste. It gives me more room than I need, and its hard to transport

Excellent, but not for the timid

I have owned my 9"x12" Intuos3 Tablet for around two years, and I can't imagine working without it.

None whatsoever.
