Creative Nomad MuVo TX FM series

Creative MuVo TX FM

Cool design; USB 2.0; comes with armband and belt clip; great sound; easy to use.

Tiny screen; no USB extension cable.

Creative's MuVo TX FM is a great option for people who want a small, lightweight, and gymworthy player with a decent feature set.

Small Wonder

The Creative MuVo Slim is the size of a business card, measuring only .3-inches thick and weighing just 1.2 ounces; you won't even know you're carrying it. Despite its size, the Slim holds 256MB of MP3 or WMA files, a voice recorder, an FM radio tuner...

Creative Nomad MuVo TX Sereis review: Creative Nomad MuVo TX Sereis

Creative Nomad MuVo TX Sereis

Cool design; 512MB of storage; USB 2.0; comes with armband and belt clip; great sound; easy to use.

Expensive; no FM tuner; tiny screen.

Though an appealing USB key/audio player hybrid, Creative's latest MuVo is no iPod Mini.

Creative Nomad Jukebox Zen NX

Large hard-drive-based audio player offers lots of configuration options.

The Nomad Zen offers a host of sound options, but its bulk makes it a bit complicated to use.

Creative Nomad MuVo review

As sleek and small as the original, bare-bones MuVo flash-based player, the MuVo NX adds a much-needed LCD and a solid list of features, including voice recording and an equalizer. We love its sturdy, direct plug-in design, but the player has a volume...

Small and light; sleek, solid design; Velcro armband; simple, intuitive controls; voice recording; impressive battery life.

Not loud enough for some; no lanyard, FM tuner, or high-quality recording options.

If you don't need a radio or care about the unit's sound levels, this player is perfect for jogging or using at the gym.

Creative Nomad Jukebox review: Creative Nomad Jukebox

USB 2.0/1.1 compatible; 30GB capacity; user-replaceable battery; relatively inexpensive.

No FM or recording; still looks oversized compared to the iPod.

Design improvements and an affordable price tag make the Jukebox Zen NX a worthy alternative to the Apple iPod.

Creative Labs MuVo²

So now you get to have it all. With its new Hitachi 4 GB Microdrive, the MuVo² mini-player is a featherweight gem with the punch of an express train.

Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra Review

Huge drives, big screens, and low prices. Our final word on the Xtra.

The general design is the same as the Zen NX's. On the left side of the player sit three buttons: power, back, and a volume seesaw. On the right side of the player sit four controls: a menu button, a scroll lever, a play/pause button, and a track...
