If you already have a cassette player you can save yourself the cost of this item. I found no difference in quality or effort between using this item or just plugging a player into the computer microphone jack.I expected considerably more for my money.

Item. did not produce sound as a tape player nor while I tried to record a tape to mp3. Sound was not being sent to the software on my laptop so I couldnt convert the tape. No luck at all with this product.
