iRiver H10: Hands-on review

iRiver's H10 5GB portable audio player has a lot to like, but there are a few flaws that were deal-breakers for us. In the end, we're returning this item, though the positive features may make the issues with this unit worth it for some. Read on...

iRiver H10 review

Ok, so maybe the H10 isn't smaller or cheaper than the iPod mini, but Pocket Lint got their hands on one and declares that with its1.5-inch color LCD screen, the H10's real competition is the iPod photo. They're a little too quick to brush aside the...

First look at the iRiver H10 5GB MP3 player

We're still pretty underwhelmed by the quality of its color LCD screen, but Club iRiver has a first look (in Korean) at the H10, iRiver's new 5GB MP3 player. Not sure whether we'd exactly call it a review, since Club iRiver is part of iRiver's official...

iriver H10 (20GB)

The H10 series puts on some serious weight, but it's mostly fat.

Easy to use. Convenient extra features. Bass enhancement works well.

Line-in recording requires optional cradle. No removable battery. Photos look bad. No on-device file deletion.

Performance

iRiver H10 (20GB)

Sophisticated, compact design; solid sound quality and nice EQ options; excellent FM and voice recording; photo-friendly color screen; supports Windows Media DRM 10.

Controls aren't as intuitive as those on the iPod; power adapter requires a USB dongle; line-in recording requires an optional cradle that's not available yet; no album art support; can't act as a USB host for PC-less transfer of photos; battery is not...

The H10 includes nearly every coveted feature, but navigating the player controls can be frustrating.

H10 5gb Mp3 Player - Triple Platinum

Apple's IPod used to be the benchmark for portable MP3 players, but now every other manufacturer seems to be gunning for the IPod Mini. Joining competitors like the Rio Carbon and the Creative Zen Micro is IRiver's $260 H10. I tested the 5GB,...

So how does the H10 match up to the IPod Mini 4GB? It's basically the same size, but offers an additional 1GB of storage. Its touch-sensitive controls aren't quite as slick as those on the Mini, but they're intuitive and pleasant to use. Finally, the...

IRiver H10

H10 beats Apple's Ipod Mini on several counts.

Versatile MP3 player sports a friendly interface that should help make it a stiff competitor to Apple's IPod Mini.

iriver H10

The iriver H10 is a do-it-all audio player, recorder, FM radio, and photo viewer in a slim case, and the new firmware fixes prior audio flaws.

Slim, light, attractive, with excellent battery life and very good performance.

Documentation on photo interface needs work.

iRiver H10 (5GB) review

Intro Following in the steps of the much-hyped (and deservedly so) 20GB H320 , the 5GB H10 is the first microdrive player from iRiver to be widely available. Joining the microdrive mania later in the game, the iRiver H10 truly outclasses the...

The photo-friendly iRiver H10 has a sophisticated compact design with removable battery, and it offers a color screen, solid sound quality, and nice EQ options. Excellent FM and voice recording as well as support for Windows Media DRM 10 round out the...

As iRiver's first 5GB entry, the H10 includes nearly every coveted feature, but navigating the player controls can frustrate some users.
