battery sucks

Light weight, good resolution

touch screen is a little iffy, but not required to funtion the main issue is the battery. The specs stated it had a 25 hour battery life, but after charging it all night . It only lasted about 5 hours with the volume on the 3rd lowest setting while...

Garbage

I don't appreciate being sold a glorified paper weight and the no-refunds deal is not acceptable. Buyer beware, don't be conned by this piece of plastic junk.

• Has a camera • For being a resistive touch screen it's surprisingly responsive and accurate.

• Battery life - went dead from a full charge in about two and a half hours of playing music. • File sorting - forget about any logical song categorization. You're limited to artist, genre or album. If you're like me and have various folders with...

A poor mans tablet

Paired with a 16GB Micro SD card at ten bucks this is a solid media player at ninety bucks with plenty of space. Was not my first choice but more reasonable than those over priced tablets. I'll use this for now until the price of a good tablet gets in...

Plays every format I've put on it with out a problem making this a truly universal media player. No re coding or changing sizes it just works. Surprisingly good E reader too

The menu system is horribly bad. Not touch screen. The buttons feel cheap. Short 4 - 5 hr battery life

Not very good

I bought this because of the FLAC support and the storage capacity. I wasn't expecting much and it still managed to disappoint. I can't think of any reason to recommend this to anyone. I read the other reviews after I had already placed the order and...

Plays music, camera works for stills and video, internal speakers make noise, FLAC support (ish).

Touch screen is difficult to use and doesn't support gestures. Requires much more pressure to register than you would think, I doubt it will function for long. FLAC support is minimal, doesn't catagorize FLAC files my tags like the MP3s. Internal...

Buyer Beware of COBY!!!

I have been a customer of NewEgg for years and I have never had a more unpleasant experience. This is the second COBY video mp3 player that I have purchased. The first one worked for a month and then the sound crapped out, this one won't even play...

None to speak or write of. I truly have nothing positive to say about this piece of electronics. And I use the term "electronics" very loosely. Not even heavy enough to be a paper weight, so this was a complete loss.

I gave it one egg because zero eggs was not an option. The touch screen is off a bit, even after calibration. The device constantly crashes, it hasn't made it through a complete song once. Finally , the included software crashes my computer every time...

Coby MP3 8GB

Cheaper than a iPod, maybe not as cool, but a great bang for the buck.

I bought two for my nephews. They loved them and had no difficulties in using them. They are ages 8 and 12. It was the hit of Christmas for them. It is very easy to load music on. I just plugged in them into my laptop and loaded via My Computer with...

The touch screen can be a bit difficult to use, but they didnt have any issue adapting to using them.

The budget iPod wannabe

I don't get what Coby was trying to achieve with this. It makes a great present for kids that want an iPod but don't know what it really is, I guess. If you wanna do that to a kid. With no volume lock, however, I wouldn't expose this to any kid under...

Cheap. Small, very light, hard to accidentally skip songs in case one is on the go or doing physical activity while listening to it. Comes with a sleeve to prevent damage or dirtiness to the player. Has a digital camera included with it with decent...

Oh, where to start. First off, the default volume for this player is loud. On the lowest available volume without muting the player entirely, it matches up to about 10 out of 25 on a Sony Walkman 8gb player. There is no equalizer or any available...

Coby MP828 8 GB Flash Portable Media Player

I love this MP3 player. The only difference between it and the Ipod touch are the Apps and about $150 in the price. This player works smoothly with both itunes and windows media, and is a snap to upload music to. One thing to note is that it holds it's...

Coby MP828 8 GB Flash Portable Media Player

Previously owned Coby MP3 player. I like the ease of use of their MP3 and that it has a FM radio option.
