MPIO PD100 Portable DAB Radio

 

MPIO shrinks portable DAB down even further and adds real-time DAB recording and MP3 playback at the same time. Neat.

Overall I was impressed with the PD100. Ok, it’s no iPod, but if you want DAB and MP3 in one package it’s one of your only options. Inevitably you’ve got to be pretty sold on DAB to consider a device at this price, but it's size and ability to record...

Korean consumer electronics giant MPIO have finally dipped their toes into the world of DAB radio. The latest portable DAB radio to reach the UK is a strong challenger to the home grown efforts of Pure Digital and the Vaio style of Sony.

easy to use. good size. record function a great bonus.

No pause button for the MP3 player part. DAB signal patchy compared to a normal dab (even when stood still in good DAB area).

The ability to pick up DAB signals is atrocious compared to other personal DAB players.This makes the MPIO almost useless.

Getting all the digital radio channels and some have not listened to before,a variety of music. The size of the digital Radio is nice and compact, fits into my small bag and carry it with me everywere.

Not getting clear signals, having to move the radio about to get as there is cracking noises, not good on the ear.
