It's real simple, all the features you actually need in an emergency, without being gouged in the price. Mine is great, goes anywhere.

A very good idea

Somebody had a very good idea with this radio.It's not the best built thing in the world,in fact you may just want to get two just in case.

Better than you'd think

After receiving the KA-007, my first impression was "another cheap Chinese throw-away". But it is surprisingly sensitive (although selectivity could be somewhat better) and seems very capable of pulling in more distant stations (especially TV) that...

Very good value for the money. Sensitive. Cheap on consumables (batteries)

Has somewhat of a "fragile" feel to it
